  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number.   • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

It's authentic. It's the small Madison. The color is probably grey, which was a color offered in 1986 and is lighter than flannel grey.

It is the same seller on both sites. The bag is an authentic Janice legacy, style 9950.

Her poshmark listing has the wrong style number and both listings are wrong about the age of the bag. It was made in 2005, not 1994 as her listings state.

It's authentic. Those corners won't come back with rehabbing.

That's probably because it's counterfeit. The serial number is also invalid and on the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers List.

Do NOT buy from Vinted seller " vickiekriner ".

They don't seem to have any process that I can find of removing counterfeit items either. And I'm sure NOT going to register with the site just to see if that information is only available to members.

Thank you for checking up on this! I thought it was fake. She had several Couch purses listed, some looked authentic, some looked problematic even to my very untrained eyes.

There is a way to report, I think, I'll look into it.
