The bag is authentic.

It's always a good idea to verify authenticity even when items come from Goodwill with a COA. Mistakes have been made and "authentic" items have been found to be fake.

Thanks! In the brief research I did it seems the imperfections in the numbering/serial number can be a sign that the bag is authentic/older (would that be correct in this case?). But I have also seen many similar Lexington bags in online sites without those imperfections. So I was not sure if the imperfections were added to make it "seem" that the bag was authentic.

Both of your theories are correct. Stamping on authentic bags can be irregular depending on the type of tool used to do the stamping at the time the bag was made. But also, the fakers also try to emulate irregularities in their attempt to copy Coach.

Each bag has to be evaluated for accuracy based on when and where made as well as for the item itself.

I bought this item from lpbail on the Canadian Poshmark site. I don’t seem to be able to post a link.
The size is 7.5” x 4
I wonder about it’s authenticity because it is purple, claims to be made in the US and has no numbers on the creed patch. Also, it doesn’t have a YTK zipper ( just kidding about the zipper, Hyacinth).
