Good afternoon! Could you please have a look at this bag? Approximately 7.5x8x2.4 (I’m out without a tape measure again) Thank you for taking the time.
It’s in my possession. Bought from a thrift shop. Sorry I didn’t mention it.

Genuine, it looks like a Compact Pouch, style 9620 from the early 1990s.

It looks good, made in 1997

Dearest Authenticators,

Please can you find a moment to review tonight’s purchase:

Where: Vinted UK
Seller: jag72
Link: https://www.vinted.co.uk/femmes/cartables/1019319974-ladies-vintage-brown-leather-satchels
Comments: I’m hoping this is my first ever (pre-1994) Station Bag. That ink spot terrifies me though.

Many thanks and stay safe

Zoe xx
Authentic, probably early 90s. It looks like someone already tried to remove the ink unsuccessfully, lightening the leather all around it. I would try zit cream on the ink, and if that doesn't work, paint. Be aware that dunking could make the ink spread, but ultimately I think the bag would benefit from a dunk.

Question for the authenticators: if a listing is removed for being a fake, will it still show “sorry you missed out on this item”? Or does that mean the bag was sold? Im not sure how to check
If it is removed on ebay, you'll see something like "we can't find that anywhere"
If you see "sorry you missed out on this item", it just means the listing ended. It doesn't mean it was sold unless it says sold. Ebay doesn't show you if the seller relisted it anymore. I have no idea why not. You have to click on "seller's other items" to see if it was relisted.

I couldn’t see where it said sold so I messaged the seller & they confirmed it’s been sold. Someone just got stuck with a $185 usd fake :( baby blue legacy flap with a US creed & “S” plant code...I wonder if I tell the seller its fake they might reach out to the buyer. I doubt it though

I wouldn't tell the seller. You can still report the ended listing. If it gets removed, the buyer might find out. Ebay won't tell the buyer it was removed for being fake, but they might tell her it was removed.

1- genuine Casino Bag style 9924. The description says the long strap is missing.

2- the link isn't correct, it should be:
The serial number isn't readable but there don't seem to be any problems with the bag.

3- authentic, from 1995
