Yep, three strikes and seller " designerdenim1 " is OUT!

Known fake serial number, wrong detail on the strap, and our old mis-spelled friend "SCRTCHES". The serial number format not being right for the dates the bag was actually produced is just a bonus.

When looking at listing photos, keeping a good magnifying glass close by is highly recommended.

2- the Ebay listing can't be authenticated until we know what's actually being sold and see the actual photo. The seller's title and description both give the serial number as L6D-9924. But the photo even though it's hard to read looks to me like J4D-9924. You need to ask the seller for clarification of the number and a clear, readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number of the actual bag in that listing.

That's the only bag in that style in the seller's Current or Completed listings, so she can't have mixed up the photos with a similar bag.

It's genuine. The style was called a Saddle Pouch and depending on size it was either the Standard #9590 or the Large version #9585. I'm guessing Standard, 9x7 inches or 22x17.5 cm. The serial number stamped onto a glued-in leather strip was used some time between the late 1970s and the early 1980s, early Coach dates aren't very accurate and that bag is impossible to date precisely. Sometimes the leather strip would fall off and just leave a blank space where the numbers had been.

Bag 1 from Suzanne in Philadelphia, PA had a creed photo that was too dark but because I saw a red flag, I lightened it and brightened so I could read. And that helped me confirm that the bag is fake.
Do not buy from Suzanne on Offerup. Screen Shot 2021-03-28 at 1.15.30 PM.png

Second bag from echokilofoxtrot on Poshmark needs a creed picture, but if the bag is available elsewhere, I recommend buying from any other site before Poshmark.

The bag on Poshmark is authentic. It is not Bonnie Cashin and it is not a speedy, but the seller is right in calling it a Broadway satchel.

Good evening, all. So, I sat for five days on this bag, wondering if it were authentic but hesitant to request an authentication here for fear of unleashing the dogs. Well, the auction ended and I was the high bidder. The best part about auctions, maybe the only good part, is that immediate payment is not required. So, here we go.
