It's probably authentic, but there are so few unique details, and the Coach stamped logo on the front is pretty worn down. I can't be 100 percent sure, but basic wallets from the 1990s weren't counterfeited very often.

I am starting to finally list some long-held bags and realized that this Coach isnt coming up correctly anywhere, i.e. the 9243 doesnt come up as a Basic Bag anywhere which is what I thought it was but I see 9455 everywhere.
Purchased on Mercari in 2019.
Please help, would love to list and finally sell it thanks a ton!

Your bag is an authentic basic bag, style 9455. The bag is a pre-1994 bag so the serial number is a unique one and doesn't include the style number.

ALL of these creeds are from genuine bags made in one of the first China handbag plants in late 1999 and early 2000. NNone of these are fake.
