Item: Soho Large Legacy, I think. Style #4161
Dimensions: 14" x 10.75" x 4.5"
Obtained: It was my mom's, but she never used it much--too large and lacking in compartments. She's asked me to rehab it and sell it for her. Of course, I want to verify authenticity before I do so.

Hi. I found the following bag on eBay and also bought one from a seller from the Facebook Marketplace who swears she purchased it from the Coach outlet. There's one issue...the creed has "CRAFTSMANSHIP" misspelled "CRARTSMANSHIP" so I figured it is a fake bag. I decided to try to find one to purchase that is authentic on eBay but ran across the same spelling error on several different posts. I'd like to buy the one I'm questioning, below, if it is authentic. Please review and advise. Thank you.

I believe it's okay. It's not the first time I've seen that same mistake and I believe it's an authentic bag on which Coach made an error. (As much as some "authenticity guide authors" want to believe and have you believe, Coach is NOT perfect!)

This is a picture I saved from a Poppy bag in August 2019. (I also think I posted about it somewhere. If I find the post, I'll come back.)




ETA: And here's the post. The error seems (so far) to have been confined to some Poppy bags:
