  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

The bag looks good but appears to be used. If you were expecting a new and unused item, it doesn't look like you got one.

Hi Authenticators, I find this mini willis offline, from a private person. She says that it's authentic but the serial number is wrong because of the worker's mistake. It supposed to be 9023 but the worker marks it as 5130. But I still think this one is NOT fine. Am I right?

The bag seems fine.

It's not the first time we've seen that mistake. In my records, I have an identical month/year/plant creed saved from 2019 with the same mistake. (It's possible that it's the same exact bag (being resold). There appears to be the same horizontal scratch over the serial prefix.)


ETA: I didn't save pictures of the rest of the bag with the mistake. So I can't confirm that the original bag was a Murphy or a Winnie.

Thank you for your reply. I search this type of purse. And find out there are some difference between this one and someothers online. Left side is this one and the right side is the other one I find online.

A: The shape of the end of the rob looks different. Left one, the edge of the rob looks more rounded while the right one is more sharp.

B: The font of "Coach" is pretty different
C: For the left one, the underline under "O" is longer than the right one.
Do you think these differences are fine?

You can only compare creeds from bags made at the same factory at the same time. The A plant, which is on the creed of your bag, wasn't a real plant. It was Coach headquarters, and from what we've seen, it was used for samples and possibly for training. We see a lot of mistakes on creeds from the A plant.

I'm not seeing a significant difference between the leather on the dowel on your bag and your example.

You can ONLY compare creed and serial details between vintage bags of the same style and made in the same plant, month and year. Every plant's stamp was different.
