Would you mind looking at this bag? The leather and lining looks like my 9328 legacy bag so I took a chance and bought it before it slipped away. Today, I googled "Coach soho bags w canvas straps" to see if I can find a name or number but only found a couple and they didn't have a serial number on the creed either. Ps. If you need a picture of the full creed I'll take a picture as soon as it arrives and I'll check the pockets for a tag. Thank you! Anne

First of all I want to say sorry because I can’t share any proper pictures because I didnt buy the bag yet and everything on that online shop is only by pre-order. So, my apologies if I only serve you with screenshots result of their review videos.

Im interest with coach tabby bag and one of the online shop in Indonesia sell it with super affordable price. Its around USD 120. They said they are selling a manufacture excess products / overproduction products that are not sell in stores. The products still goes through the QC process but not as much as store’s products. My question is “are Coach really sell a manufacture excess products?” and pls help me to authenticate the bag, is it original or not, only if these photos able to describe it. Thank you

THEY'RE LYING. Don't even think of wasting your money! If you already ordered one of their counterfeits, get your money back.

Coach has their own Outlet stores all over the world. They have more than 70 outlet stores just in the U.S. WHY would they need to sell "not quite perfect" items to anyone else? The ONLY stores that get Coach "seconds" or older unsold merchandise are in the US and the bags and other items are marked to let buyers know. The store you're asking about is selling illegal and poorly made counterfeits, THAT is why the quality does not seem as good as the bags from real Coach stores! And why the prices are so low.

What I see so far looks good, but we need a full creed picture and the made in tag. I'm not surprised it doesn't have a number.

Ideally, I'd like to see the full creed, but I'm comfortable enough with it to say that it's authentic.

I don't know which style this would be or whether this particular bag has a serial number on the creed. but there were several similar soho swingpack/flap duffles, some with and some without serial numbers.

One bag that does have a serial number and has the same webbed strap is style 7843. (I don't think this is the style you have as your bag looks longer but the point is that the strap is the same.)

Other possibly larger but similar styles have a leather strap.

Thanks @Hyacinth. I feel a little less guilty about how I reacted. I let the heat of the moment get to me & even if it was well deserved, I didn’t feel good about myself after saying it. I will definitely be better about how I handle the frustration of someone sniping me in the future. (As well as taking more preventive measures like buying first or waiting until I have the bag in hand- even if it is more risky).

I am grateful that you allow private authentication requests to the contributing members. It gave me peace of mind when you authenticated my bargain grey willis. Truly, thank you for that.

Just to prove my previous post - here's a screen cap from one of "his" Facebook groups including a reference to their "sniping" and why many tPFers are losing items they've bid on. There is a LOT of venom, libel, and just plain psychopathic hatred on that page, much of it directed at me and mostly irrational AND actionable, but I'll handle that on my own, the screencaps I'm saving would be enough to turn anyone's stomach. Several other tPF members are also mentioned on that site, and not in a nice way.

Too bad he hasn't figured out that the more of this poison he spews, the worse he looks and more and more people see him for what he really is. But every time he opens his mouth or posts at any of the few public forums that haven't banned him yet, he shows exactly WHY he's become a pariah.

I know he'll be reading this, but I doubt if he cares what I say or think. What I DON"T understand is why he thinks I care what he says or thinks of me.




BTW, to call out just ONE of his lies - I don't believe I've ever called ANYONE a Hitler. There are some evils in fact and history that are so incomprehensible and vile that they don't compare with anything else and I don't compare them with anything else. If he's hearing "Hitler" it's not from me. My dad was a WWII vet and hated that devil with every fiber of his being, and I respect his reasons for doing so.

None of us do. But that never stops a mentally unstable person from doing it anyway. It's their way of feeling powerful and important. I really hope ALL of his Facebook followers have had a chance to read that. If any of them think that's normal behavior, good luck to them, they're going to need it.


(I'm not even going to get into the bags that he mis-authenticates on that page as fake or genuine. Including several fakes of never-seen-before "Italian"styles with Coach New VORK" stamps. It would be funny if it wasn't such a sad example of incompetence. And before he starts accusing me of trying to ruin his reputation, all of these are from a public forum on which he is publicly trying to shame others AND vilifying several entities including tPF and Ebay as well as a number of their members.)
