9166 is a Legacy Large Drawstring, Coach gives the measurements as 12x13 inches. The 9929 Sling is probably at least 6 years older and measurements are listed as 10x14 inches. There's no connection between the 2 styles. Yours is genuine, made in 2000
Thank you so much. Just now I came upon the bag style 9165 as I researched. I think that is what I was thinking of. Were the 9166 and 9165 both available in 2000? Or did mine come out after it?

9165 was the "standard" size Legacy Drawstring. Both it and 9166 were introduced in Fall 2000. Yours would have been made about 4 months before the style's official introduction, which wasn't unusual.

Hi everyone,
I need your help to authenticate this thrifted coach bag.
The measurements are 7” by 10”.
Model :06818
Purchased on a European second hand app called “Vinted”.
At first sight I really thought that the creed was a little off. What do you think ?

There's definitely a problem with how the photos are arranged when two people can't tell or agree if there are three or four bags in the photos.

When asking about two or more bags that are similar styles and colors, there has to be a way of clearly separating the sets of photos. This forum's software can scramble them up badly if you click on the wrong button. When they're that similar, a separate post for each one is the best idea. Or else separate the sets by a line or two of text.

sorry about the photos. I thought I had them all in order and then I don’t know what happens when I actually post them. They look like a tossed salad. I will work on it more next time. Thanks for all of your information and help.

Thank you @Hyacinth , once in-hand I’ll post additional images to aid your authenticity review.

Take care

I don't see any problems. It's a genuine Soho Mini Signature Small Flap from what looks like 2006.

Hi everyone!

I have a mystery bag which I'm hoping you guys have any info on.

Item: pre creed bonnie cashin Safari style bag I guess?
Where purchased or how obtained: purchases in America a very very very long time ago, like early 70's.

Comments: the leather is very supple still especially since it hasn't been conditioned, ever.
The turnlocks feels quite a lot thicker than my newer vintage coach bags.
There's no creed or logo besides the hangtag, nothing inside the bag or either of the pockets, no little tag no nothing.
No zipper, little feet on the bottom.

Size (it's a bit squished): w33 cm X h22 cm X d10ish cm.

Thanks!
