Congratulations! It appears to be a 9730 shoulder sac made in the late 80s or early 90s. It's a great style.
Thank you, whateve! I’m excited to have found it!

If you have the time, could you please explain why you you think the bag is from the 80s or 90s? I assumed that the xxx-xxxx format number always meant you had a bag from the 70s. If that isn’t the case, I’d love to know so that I’m not exaggerating how old my bag is (I love the look of shock people have when I tell them my purse is 30+ years old!)

That number format was used from the late 70s to the late 80s. If you have a bag with a number and a NYC creed, it could be from the 70s but is more likely from the 80s. In the late 80s, Coach opened up a second plant besides the NYC plant. They kept the same number format but now bags said 'Made in the United States" rather than "Made in New York City." With these creeds you can't tell if the bag was made in NYC or at the second plant. The bag you bought has a Made in the United States creed, which dates it between 1988 and 1993. In 1994, they started using the current format with plant codes and date codes. You can identify those because they always start with a letter.

Thank you for the history lesson, whatev! It seriously amazes me all the knowledge you authenticators have rattling around in your brain. I guess I can’t brag that my bag is as old as I thought it was, but a 25 to 30 year old bag is still worth celebrating!

Not sure I am interested in this or not, but I haven't seen it before. Curious of it's authenticity.

It looks good.
It's style 4568. The picture isn't that great but this is Coach's stock image.

Aha! I found a couple of listings.

It's called a structured business card holder. I believe this seller's estimate of the year is correct, from approx. 2002.

I am currently searching for fb shops here in UAE who sell fake coach bags to atleast inform my colleagues not to buy from them. We already reported the 2 pages that i request to authenticate before but i don’t think we have the numbers. Sooo, here is one more page that I discovered. I sent a message and asked for a photo of one of her bags and this is what she sent me. It would really be a big help if you could authenticate this for me.

Wow, that's a coincidence!

That bag and creed are almost identical to one I posted yesterday. The one I posted had a scrambled prefix (not in the "correct" order) but nothing else on the bag appeared to be wrong.

@Hyacinth responded in the next post.

And your creed vs. the one I'd posted:
