Thank you and be safe!

The listing from madefabulous is this one:

Stitching can be a problem but for an item to be fake, it takes more than just some sloppiness.

The bag is fake because there are problems with the creed, serial number and fonts. As seen in this bag, a fake can (and often does) have a "correct" style number for the bag it's trying to copy. But the full creed and serial number have to be correct in fonts, spacing,
text, etc. for when and where made.
Thank you!

That is very sweet of you but absolutely not necessary to donate on our/my behalf. There's no reason why you cannot and shouldn't resell them (assuming they're authentic) and earn a few bucks for yourself.

If you're set on donating, I'd choose either RSPCA or Oxfam.
Oops, press reply too soon.
I really want to donate them (they are authentic) and hopefully they will find new owners and help the others at the same time.
Xxx

Genuine, it looks like a Camera Bag Small, style 4012 from the Lightweight line and made in the early 1990s. It's not a Basic Bag.
By "basic" I meant plain and boring

I'm not a huge fan of vintage bags and this one is particularly dull but I've been looking for a basic everyday brown purse and, frankly, I'm tired of looking. I went ahead and purchased. Thank you for the quick help.

Comments: I am still learning but never saw any bag like this.

It looks like a 8170 Classic Shoulder Bag Twill probably made in or around 1986. It's genuine, but with fabric bags always check the photos carefully for condition and stains. And please note that the bag's material is Twill FABRIC.

From the 1986 Summer catalog:
