IMPORTANT READ-ME

Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.
For further information, please refer to the first post on page 1 of this thread.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:
  • FOR ITEMS LISTED ONLINE:
    Item:
    Listing number:
    Seller and site where listed
    Link:
    Comments:

  • FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ONLINE:
    Item:
    Where purchased or how obtained
    Comments:
BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.
Thank you and be safe!

I found another daypack, I love these things. Found on Mercari. It's navy blue but I've never seen this type of stamp for factory. What do you think? Ty.

It's not for "Factory", it's for "Final Sale". The bag is a genuine Daypack.

It's fine. The stamp means final sale, not factory.

ETA: Sorry, I didn't see Hyacinth had already answered.

I'm sorry, but it's fake.

The creed is the first place anyone should look. Not only is the serial number invalid because of missing or incorrect production codes, but the word "authenticity" is spelled "AUTHENCITY" on the patch, and "will always" is written as one word when it should be two.

Something else to keep in mind - there are too many "COACH" stamps on that bag. Bad stitching is not the only problem.

Try contacting the seller and insisting on a refund. Unfortunately if they refuse, you have no way to legally force them to give you one since you paid cash. That's not the safest way to buy highly-faked designer name brands.

Warning to all readers:

SELLER " AUTHENTIC FOR LESS " IN THE U.A.E. SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED.

And Facebook is not a safe place to buy any highly-counterfeited merchandise.

Thank you so much for the help Hyacinth! She claims that all of her coach bag was from US, that’s why its cheaper than mall price.

Awesome! Thank you!

I ran into another wishlist find...

Item: Vintage Coach Bucket Large Drawstring Brown Leather Backpack Bag 9992
Listing number: 164567222530
Seller and site where listed: mommytreasurebox2 @ ebay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/164567222530
The seller removed this hmm..
I'm a little late with this reply. (Haven't been getting updates on new posts!)

Nope, the seller didn't remove the listing. EBAY removed it because it was fake.

ETA: Adding this because I saw a followup post:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/164567215647
She has another one up!!! its crazy because I just looked at this bag then, saw this message and it happened to be the same seller! Should I report this? There are several watchers and that's a lot of money to spend for it to end up being counterfeit

Be careful of mommystreasurebox2's listings. She also sold this fake. ("Mixers" are more dangerous than sellers who have all fakes!)

ETA #2:
This is the fake she sold for over $75!

I'm not comfortable with that bag and don't recommend buying it.

ETA: I see that Hyacinth already responded

Hi. Can someone authenticate this for me? I bought it on a discounted price since the seller said this is a mall pull out hence the stitches are not perfect. The hardware tho are a little bit rusty. Should this happen on a authentic coach bag? Thanks in advance.
Please post the exact link and the seller's name and location. Read the READ ME post at the top of every page for the information we require to authenticate an item. Did you get any information about the seller's return policy? You're going to need that information. And how did you pay for the bag? Paypal, credit card, or bank transfer?

NEVER ever buy from a site or seller who requires cash or bank transfer as payment. Paying that way is the equivalent of handing cash to a stranger.

This is a different bag with a different seller.

(Sorry. I think I mixed up another of your authentication requests. The other was fake and I thought it was this post.)

I'm not comfortable with this item nor with the sellers. I like to look at sellers' other items.

I recommend extreme caution when buying from Facebook!

Both are fine.

I have one more!
This is also looking fake to me as well? It looks like it sold already

Seller: yuliannashop
You're right, it's fake. My sympathies to the buyer.
Although the seller claims (in the listing above) that she wouldn't have sold it if she'd known it was fake, it's not yuliannashop's only fake.

She also sold this one:
