It's snowing in the Philly 'burbs! Sort of. If you don't look at the sidewalk or streets, it's really pretty. In between glimpsing the snow, I found a duffle sac on ebay in one of my missing three colors: Olive Green, color of the year in 1994. I bought it then and hope to have it authenticated now:

It looks good to me!

It looks good to me!

Oh, yay! Thank you Hyacinth! I really wanted this green. Unbelievably, it's quite different from Bottle Green, Forrest Green and all of their green cousins. I watched a 9953 in this color just a little while ago and tried to convince myself the smaller size would work until someone else actually bought it. Now, I have one of my own. This makes me happy. Thank you, again, Hyacinth, and all of the authenticators. You help each of us have our own little Christmas.

Comments...it has a letter A in the middle of the last part of the serial with the F for factory in front.

It's fine, Soho Leather Flap Satchel. Coach gave almost all new styles released in 2005 a 4-digit style number that was a combination of numbers and letters, NLNN, such as 8A11. The zero was added at the beginning to bring it up to the 5-digit format that began in 2006, and of course the F is for Factory Stores. Since this one was made in 2007 but it's a Factory version of a 2005 style it has all of the above.

Confused? Good, then my work here is done.

Or at least I thought it was until Whateve posted this. I blame either the legalization of Weed or too many days in self-quarantine or full lockdown by too many Coach executives with only a dozen cases of Jack Daniels or Tito's to keep them company:

"Some newer style numbers only have 4 digits, both retail and factory. They are reusing style numbers. My new bag only has 4 digits. There are some with only 3 digits. Look on Coach.com. The Cashin Carry Tote 22 is style #737, the 29 size is #730. The turnlock convertible crossbody in signature is #106. The turnlock pouch is #2905. The new swinger is really weird in that it has a letter in the number and the first digit is zero: C0638. There doesn't seem to be any pattern."

:wtf:

I saw that conversation and when I saw this bag wondered if it was an example of what everyone was talking about.
Yes confused ...but will leave all that confusion for you guys...I just get them chacked out here first.
