Comments...Kind of cheap for this bag...what say you Masters Of Authentication..
Sorry...photos might not be enough for you
ETA..I think its a Mercer?
Giving this a BUMP.

It could be a Mercer 25 but someone else will have to authenticate.
Thank you @Hyacinth ...might be too small for me but I will wait for others opinions
Sorry. I'd seen this post but got busy looking for the tartan plaid item names and numbers and forgot to return.

The bag looks fine. Based on the tag I found, it's called Grain leather Mercer 24. (The number stickers below the name on the tag imply that the bag was carried by a warehouse store, possibly Costco. Those stickers would be their style/inventory numbers.)

You are awesome ..thank you...now to work out if its too small for me or not.

Good morning cherished authenticators! Could you kindly have a look at this bag from my local Facebook marketplace? I asked for a photo of the creed and the reply was that it didn't have one. It does have what appears to be a metal Coach cartouche which I hope I was able to enlarge adequately for you. Seller didn't have the measurements, but sent a mod shot so I could see how small it is. Perhaps there isn't sufficient information to authenticate or identify, but I thought I'd try, and any information you can give me would be much appreciated. If authentic it would be a gift for a close friend who loves orange. Many thanks in advance! :hugs:

This is beautiful! It's authentic. It is probably a sling bag #9710 if it is about 9 x 6 x 3 inches.

The jury is still out on one of those stamp combos. The 9020 is definitely fake though.

The brown 9806 bothers me not just because of the formatting, but because the Coach logo at the top is different from all the other C plant creeds I've seen. Here's the original listing, the base looks a bit sloppy too, and the pic of the inside doesn't show the bag open wide enough to see the details of the inside base or the male part of the magnetic snap. Some of the letters in the creed are pretty badly made too, the "W" in "was" is completely different from the "W" in "cowhide".

Here's the inside and base compared to a known genuine one:

(not the same month, but the details match other 1997 C plant creeds) - again, there's no solid proof but without pics of the brown one's interior with the bag completely open to show all the details, and a clear photo of the magnetic snap, I wouldn't be comfortable authenticating it.:

Good evening, Would you please authenticate this Coach wallet from seller calithrift1971? Is it really a Bonnie Cashin design, or a later style? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-CO...Envelope-Clutch-Wallet-Kisslock/254766645228?

Thank you Hyacinth! I'll soak it and see if it's cleans up enough to chase after near new condition. GW postage is almost never worth paying for unless it's s eral bags in one lot and they are all in rough shape. I appreciate the time you experts offer very much.

Item: red Coach shoulder bag
Listing number: not sure where to find this
Seller and site where listed: desertandsage, Poshmark

Comments: Asking for help identifying this bag as I can't find the style number online. I think it's supposed to be a Penny or a Pocket Purse (which look the same to me. Is it the same bag by two different names?)

Serial appears to be 626-2843.
