It's authentic but Legacy zip bags (9966) are highly (and often well) faked. So verifying is always a good idea.

Although we've seen many cases where Poshmark gives buyers who've received fakes a hard time in disputes, you shouldn't give up! Demand a refund/return and if they deny you, you have your credit card protection to fall back on.

It's because of PM's reluctance to do the right thing in many instances (removal of fakes, responses to disputes, failing to suspend scammers, etc) that I recommend against the site. (This isn't to say that Poshmark doesn't have some honest buyers and sellers but in promoting them, I'd be helping a dishonest site profit so I rarely recommend any of PM's listings.)

I’m not an authenticator by any means, but I am good at spotting a fake and I think it’s authentic. She sold other vintage coach around the same time you bought yours like this one and this too. I think it’s just a pre-creed piece that’s been through a lot. The suspender matches the red and blue one they used too.

It may or may not be authentic but I've never seen a white or silver Coach plaque and the font is atrocioius! I'm convinced it's not authentic but I did recommend other opinions from @whateve and @Hyacinth

With that said, just because kimfuentes sold a couple of authentic bags around the same time as she sold that bag doesn't mean that all her items are authentic. (Do you have any idea how many sellers are "mixers?")

Some people have had the experience that when they wash a bag that has one of these metal tags, the black flakes off. This may be what happened here. Is there anything stamped on the buckles? Do they feel heavy?

ETA: Also, can you measure the metal tag?

Hoping again I’m doing this right!
I purchased this bag but I’m unable to find another with this strange (non buckled, sewn on) strap. Looks pre+94 from the creed link but doesn’t go with any photos I can find, even trying really early duffle bags. Hoping it’s not a fake!
if she’s real, I’m gonna have to figure out how to fix the fading (rehab forum!)

It's called a Drawstring Sac and was made in the late 1980s. There were 2 sizes available at that time, the Medium is style number is 4015, the Large is style 4010 and they were part of Coach's Lightweight line, which should be mentioned if you're going to ask for rehabbing information since the leather is slightly different from the "classic" and heavier Coach vintage leathers.

Here's Coach's catalog pages from 1987. When measureing, the first number is considered the Length (side to side) and the second is the height. The seller's measurements are sort of in the middle. I'm just guessing based on the drawstring length but I think this is the Medium, but you may want to mesure it yourself. It's probably most accurate to use the measurement across the base to figure out which size it is.

I can't tell if it is off or not. Here is a picture of a metal tag with the cartouche.

Fakes may not have existed then but what is to prevent someone from making one now to look like it is very old.
