Thank you for that!
I've already received a refund, she shipped it wrapped in a VERY thin white plastic bag so when I received it the bag was ripped half open and there was damage that she claimed wasn't there before she send it and told me to go pound sand cause her packaging was perfect.
Vinted took one look at the damage and "packaging" and refunded straight away.

I was planning on taking it to a cobbler to see if they could fix the ripped leather, but when I noticed the difference in turnlock with my other two bags I figured I'd ask here if it was worth it.
On the bright side, I get to practice my repair skills now!

Now I'm a little scared to check my other bags in case they're fakes too though

Could I have this wallet authenticated?

It looks good. Did you look behind the zippered coin pocket for the made in?

Hi
Looks like ebay pulled all listings and only left one. I would not buy from nicguinta ever. Buyer beware.

Hi there, this is my coworkers bag, a Dinky. She got it from a tag sale years ago and I would like to have it authenticated. It has a stamp that says "irregular" on the creed and a strange serial number. If this bag is indeed authentic, would you tell me more about it? I am curious to learn about bags like this and what is irregular about it because it looks like a normal dinky to me. The bag is blue and measures 9" x 5.5" Thanks

It was called a Multi Function Purse, style number 7219 and it was probably made around 1992, it's in the paper copy of the Spring 1992 catalog. I've had a few smaller vintage items and even wallets that didn't have any visible Made In marks or tags. It's not a problem.

ETA - found it in the index pages of the 1996-97 Source book, almost all the way in the lower right corner of the page on the right side

It IS a regular Dinky, probably from around 1988. Apparently someone in charge of setting the serial number mechanism set it to show an 8 or a 1 instead of the dash in the middle of the serial number, or maybe the stamping mechanism jammed, we'll never know. We've seen dozens of them and it's even mentioned in the Salearea Guides. That's probably why Coach gave it the Irregular stamp, most of the time they didn't bother. It's probably from the early 1990s

Of all the Irregular stamps I've seen on dozens of genuine bags, this is probably the first time I've been able to see WHY they stamped it. That was back when Coach actually had Quality Control specialists at the plant.

Thank you @Hyacinth. I just checked my other small vintage coach coin purse thing & it also doesn’t have any “made in” marks. Just the embossed coach stamp. Good to know, thanks again!

And this is yet another example of Coach's inconsistency.

I've had 2 of these items, one of which clearly has a "made in" stamp and the other without it.

Hi, I purchased this wallet clutch a few months ago on Poshmark from seller BBrettig and use it as my every day wallet. I absolutely love it, however i never authenticated. It is one of my favorite finds and I dont know anything about it. I would like to be able to find one in another color in the future if it is authentic because it is awesome. Can you tell me more about it? Thank you. I can take more pictures if needed.
