It's authentic. It's not a city bag. It's an early version of the dinky, probably late 70s, early 80s. That is how they used to do the straps.

It's a complicated subject and depends on the bag, but NO, Coach began to phase out the full-grain leathers right around the time they began switching production to China.

I am new to this so I hope I am doing right I just started to buy myself vintage made in America purses and I found one on Ebay. I have been reading a lot trying to figure out if it is real or not. I figured out by the serial number that the model is City bag. I am suspicious about the quality of the bag strap anchor to the purse body. I have seen some like mine online that were authenticated but then I saw other with much "stronger" attachment. Any help is appreciated!
