Hi all, brand newbie here.

Got this Coach bag yesterday at a Goodwill. It looks good, but I'm no expert.
I couldn't find it online anywhere either.

From what we've gathered, bags with Z in front of the style number seem to indicate that an item was made to be sold at discounters such as Nordstrom Rack.

1. I can't read the creed clear enough to make a decision.
2. obvious fake. You owe the buyer a refund. It is illegal to sell fakes even if you include a disclaimer.
3. authentic
4. authentic.

I think the first one is OK but a better photo would help. I'm seeing Hungary as the country named in the creed. The month isn't legible but it looks like 6 and U could be the year and plant codes. That unusually long underline in "No" is something I'm seeing on photos in my files in genuine bags from that plant and year. The creed wording and spacing also matches "U" plant bags from 1996. The last word in the second line of the creed is "of" and that's also normal for that plant's creeds.

Thanks so much, @whateve! Any guess as to an approximate year?

All my catalogs show it with an attached strap. I would guess it is probably from the late 70s, early 80s.

Your message to the buyer is one that is seen so infrequently on Poshmark, thus my cynicism. I appreciate your response!

Since you bought the bag years ago, it's unlikely that you can get a refund from the store from which you purchased so for the you to pay for return shipping on an item you (nor the buyer) can resell is a waste of money. (And if the buyer has to pay to return it, that doesn't seem fair either.)

Is there a way on PM for sellers to just issue a full refund?

Re Posh refunds, I just went through this process. Seller can cancel a sale outright if the item hasn’t shipped and all $$ automatically refunds. Otherwise, nothing can happen until the buyer receives item. Buyer opens a case through problems/order inquiry within 3 days of receipt, seller can respond they’ll accept the return. Posh still must approve - it’s not automatic! If approved, price/tax/shipping all refunded.
Seems like refund should be relatively straightforward in this case. I hope.
