  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.
Thank you and be safe!

It's FAKE. And not the first time that seller has listed a counterfeit. Get your money back, including your shipping costs both ways if she wants you to return it. Returning it doesn't make any sense though since it can't be sold anywhere in the US.

The turnlock back shouldn't be indented in the back under the prongs, and the serial number's plant AND month codes are both invalid. Coach never used "R" as a month code.

Never buy from Ebay seller " linda*s***stuff " unless you have it authenticated here first.
I’m now concerned about the same issue. Clasp is unaccessible inside of the bag due to a flap of leather covering it. No help on the bag repairs forum- please let me know if this changes anything about the authenticity of mine.

The bag is authentic. @whateve can advise on the turnlock.

They might have done things differently in the Hungarian plant. Most turnlock hardware is accessible. I don't understand why it would be covered since the back is hidden inside the pocket.

can somebody please identify this bag for me? Thanks.

It's an authentic swinger bag 4040 from the Lightweights collection, made in the early 90s. BUT, the strap is not original to the bag, probably wasn't made by Coach.
