Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item
• Back of item
• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Is this what you mean by "a creed that said was made in the United States stamped with a skinny N plant?" (If so, I bet it had the same serial number!)

The width of the characters was more narrow, too. I wish I had taken a pic. I was so fixed on “Made in the United States” and the N plant, I forget the rest!

There are a few valid N plant made in the United States creeds, but only for 1994. If it was a Berkeley, 1994 would be too early.

The bag is authentic but the seller needs to be educated. Serial numbers aren't a top-secret detail of Coach items and in fact, she should know that showing the full legible creed and serial number is necessary for her to prove authenticity, for buyers to feel confident enough to buy and know what they're getting and for authenticators to authenticate the item(s).

Her statement of the serial number being "(censored in pics for buyer's privacy)" is BS.

Comments: dimensions are 7 inches height, 8 inches width and 4 1/2 inches depth

And should have said thanks to all of you authenticators and members who post pics! The irony is that there was an accusation that information was not being shared. Yet, and I’ve said this before, that search feature is the bomb! Maybe not all of the authenticators’s files are here but there is a ton of info in this thread! To be found by whomever wants to look. It probably helps that my day job entails a good deal of document review!
