I have a general question... are Coach scarves something that is commonly faked? What do you look for when buying a scarf off eBay or some other platform? Can they be authenticated here?
They can and are faked. I've seen many. We can authenticate them here. Unless you feel comfortable in your abilities, I recommend you ask here. The main things to look for are the label and the font of the logos.

I am the seller of this item. The buyer has opened a return request under the reason "Doesn't seem authentic". Here is the message from the buyer:
"The item is not authentic coach, has no serial number on the interior or inside tag, no coach markings on the metal hardware and the bag is not real leather, the interior of the bag is not the quality of a real coach bag and is sewn together poorly. This item was misrepresented during the sale and I am requesting a refund, please."

Here are some photos that the buyer has attached:

Any confirmation of authenticity would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see any problems. It looks authentic to me. More opinions are welcome. You can try directing the buyer here. Small bags most often don't have creeds or tags with serial numbers. More Coaches than not don't have marking on the hardware. Generally only fakes have logos on every piece of hardware. The lining is a standard lining that was used at the time when this bag was made.

Even if you are right, it doesn't matter to ebay. When a buyer opens a SNAD case, the seller is encouraged to accept the return. If you don't, the buyer might be allowed to keep both the bag and the money. If the case is escalated, ebay will automatically decide in the buyer's favor and you'll get a defect on your account.

Count me as a second person who deems the bag authentic.

As @whateve suggested, you can refer the buyer here for reassurance of authenticity if that is her real reason for wanting to return it.

In many cases though, buyers who don't like an item (size, color, etc.) but see a "no return" policy think they have to have a reason for requesting a return so they open a dispute. That could be your buyer's reason for alleging that the bag is fake.

If she comes and reads and decides to keep the bag, she can close the dispute. If she's not interested in keeping it, just accept the return. Unfortunately, you'll have to pay for the return shipping and her refund will be for her full purchase price.

Sorry this happened.

Good morning authenticators, could you please have a look at this listing for me? I would like to know if it is authentic and what style it is (if you can possibly tell either from the supplied photos). The creed photo I requested was sent to me, but is illegible.
Many thanks for your efforts!

Okay, here's another recommendation for reading the six Salearea Guides and why some Coaches don't have serial numbers. Please spend a half-hour or so reading them, some day you'll be glad you did.

It's genuine. Maybe some kind of Legacy or Legacy West Demi. If you need an ID, please Reply to this post and I'll get to it when I have a little more time.

Thank you very much Hyacinth!
