  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Item: Vintage Coach Regina Bag

Comments: The purse lost most of it’s (glossy?) coating and the top part of the purse feels like the natural leather interior. I was wondering if there was any tips on how to restore/improve the purse if possible. I got this purse for under $8 and I almost left it behind but the Regina style is so pretty. Hopefully I can fix it somehow.

Both look good. The Regina might be improved by a bath and conditioning. I don't know if you can get rid of enough stains to make it look good. Visit our rehab club for help: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/coach-rehab-and-rescue-club.833400/

You can't find it because it's a complete fake. There's nothing about it that's right for a genuine Coach. Did you read the creed patch inside the bag? It says it's made from genuine cowhide. Not only is the bag NOT made of cowhide, but as you can see from the cracking on the bottom, even the leather-looking parts are made of cheap vinyl. Leather doesn't crack like that. It's not even worth the 12 dollars shown on the price tag. Where and when did you buy it?

Please note that in the forum thread Rules, we require the url link from where the item was purchased. If you can supply that, we may be able to tell you how to get your money back. That counterfeit is illegal to sell or trade in most of the countries on this planet because it violates almost every country's anti-counterfeiting laws. Selling it in the USA is a felony.
