The second is, I believe, a Riding Bag #9750:

Hi everyone!

Is this one good?

Item: Vintage Coach Tan Leather Cross-body Shoulder Bag Purse Handbag USA
Listing number: 221748843396
Seller: thisbargains4u
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...dbag-USA-/221748843396?_trksid=p2054897.l4275
Comments: Is the style really called 9956? Looks like a station bag but the dimensions are different.

Many thanks!

It's fake. L4C-9956 is a known number that appears on a variety of fakes in different styles.
You copied the seller's ID incorrectly. It's thesebargains4u.

thesebargains4u also has this fake with another invalid serial number, 308-9875.

Both bags are fine. Didn't I already authenticate these for you from the listings?

Yes, you did. eBay removed my listings for them on the basis they were counterfeits. I knew that wasn't possible because you 3 are always 100% trustworthy and correct. It was recommended that I post my own pics for re-verification before pursuing a paid authentication.
However, I might keep the red Compact Pouch, because it is really cute.
Thank you (again). I hope I didn't offend you by asking a second time. :shame:

Thanks Hyacinth. Decided I didn't like the large grain and didn't buy it afterall. Good to know such a sage exists as I am searching searching searching for a Kristin Laila aka Sage I can afford ;-) and learning so much here.

Thanks, now I get it.

No problem, but it would have been helpful if you had prefaced your request with the reason. Did you have other Coach items listed that weren't removed, or any other listing that might have been fake? There is nothing even slightly questionable in those bags. I have no clue why anyone would claim they weren't authentic.

Sorry, I was trying to keep it low key and avoid drama, because I'm pretty upset about it. These were the oldest (pre-1994 creed) bags I'd ever listed. I've never had any listings for bags removed before, for any reason. I still have 6 Coach items listed, and sold 6*** last week, and quite a few more about 6 months ago (I took a break from selling for a bit). I've never even had a problem with a buyer, knock on wood.
Every Coach bag I have ever listed and sold I authenticated here first or bought it in person from an actual Coach store.

*** Eta: Brain faht. I sold 5 Coach bags last week and 1 lower-end bag from a premier designer. The premier bag was authenticated on its brand's AT thread, and I have not heard a peep from either eBay or the buyer about it at all.

Eta 2: BeenBurned has all of the info on the listings, should there be any concerns about veracity.

The only thing I can imagine is that they used an "authenticator" who was trained to look up the style number from the numbers after the dash and when they didn't match, they claimed they were counterfeit.
