One more for today. Authentic? If so, does anyone know when Coach made this style and what the style was called? :thinkin: I was having a hard time posting more than one picture from my iPad. I'll post another picture of the creed separately. Thank you. :flowers:

If it's about 11x8 inches it's a genuine Shoulder Bag, style number 4050 from the Lightweight line, made some time around 1988-89.

Thanks! I'm new to this forum and I have tried the search function. Maybe you can help me? I couldn't find any reviews of the actual bag itself... How much can I fit into this bag?
It's a very popular style. Here's a link to Coach.com where you can read the reviews. http://www.coach.com/on/demandware...._color=BLK&cgid=women-handbags-coach-classics
You can ignore any negative reviews about the quality of the leather, as the bag on ebay is probably much nicer quality than anything they make currently.

I think it is medium-sized. For me, it would work as an everyday bag. Other people carry more than I do so it might be too small for them. It fits a full size wallet and my sunglasses, plus more. It might be hard to find anything on the forum that shows how much fits because there is more than one style called Willis, and most recent posts would be about the new Willis.

ETA: Here is one post showing what fits inside: http://forum.purseblog.com/showpost.php?p=24436513&postcount=5584

Happy birthday joodlz!

I have a pocket purse from this era with dog leash clips too. I knew it was authentic but still obsessively searched for proof and finally found a catalog photo, along with a few more on eBay

Thanks, ledobe! I was hoping the strap was a true Coach switcheroo. I really hadn't taken any time to look at more than a few ebay offerings. I'm usually way more obsessive too :)

Forgive me if off topic....I was wondering if there is a record of Trusted Sellers that is searchable? I realize links to specific sales are prohibited, but would love to support the sellers whose ethics are strong using due care in selling authenticated items. Is this allowed? :thinkin:

No, there isn't, it's just not practical. And even good honest sellers can make mistakes and list a fake. Ask here about individual bags you're planning on buying or bidding on.

Search for posts and comments on individual sellers here at tPF using the Search feature and also search their record of Negative and Neutral Feedback through www.Toolhaus.org

Thank you! That makes sense. I remember seeing a post recently that mentioned the seller was known as a trusted seller, which got me to thinking there might be such a record.
