Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I have SO MANY bags that I am not seeing any profits, I just keep buying and buying!
Tax time and I am broke,

Told hubby I am going to stop buying for at least a couple weeks.
But I still keep looking because I think I am going to miss that "DEAL OF THE CENTURY!"
and of course I always find things...

and it is so much fun when I get my packages from the postman!
Sometimes I wait until I have 10 or more to open them up...lol.
Do you think I have a problem??:wondering

I have the same problem! It is so much fun getting packages! Not so much fun selling, but buying is great!

I know..I know.. I hear you! I was stressing about the whole buying buying thing. too.Then I was talking to my wonderful brother and he said to me "YOU are a seller... so you have to Have STOCK!"
so there you go Ladies! No GUILT! We MUST HAVE INVENTORY!!!! OH MY !!What if we run out of bags?? Not a chance, huh??

Sometimes I think I'm just providing a community service. I import all these bags, rehab them and sell them for peanuts. But I can't stop looking and buying! I blame tpf, I blame SheriDahlin's brother, I blame the economy, Iblame tight a** buyers, but I definitely don't have a problem!

I asked a seller for a picture of the creed (and combining shipping on another bag I like). The seller told me to refer to her feedback as she has sold 2 other bags that were authentic.

Is this a cause for concern or an offended seller?

No indentations, that's the first thing I check for.
The zipper actually goes all the way across.
I probably put it on the wrong pile, and they do get moved around a lot.
It almost got destroyed, yikes.

IMO, a seller who won't send pictures that are necessary for authentication purposes is a seller you should avoid.

Very few listings are OOAK and if you don't buy from her, you'll likely find another seller whose listings have the necessary pictures for authentication or will send you what you need.

Approx. 9.5"w x 6"h x 2"d. Strap 23 to dogleash clips...whoa, shouldn't these be lobster claws? The leather on the left side of the Coach cartouche on the creed is very thin...probably why imprint is so faint, right?

I have a pocket purse from this era with dog leash clips too. I knew it was authentic but still obsessively searched for proof and finally found a catalog photo, along with a few more on eBay

Welcome to TPF.

We can't answer your question without seeing the bags because fakes can and often do have "legitimate" serial numbers. It's the details of the bag itself that determine authenticity.

It's fake. L4C-9956 is a known number that appears on a variety of fakes in different styles.
