Genuine, it looks very much like a style 9620 Compact Pouch from the early to mid 1980s, but there's a discrepancy in the measurements between Coach and the seller. Coach measured that style at 7 inches long (width) by 8 inches high in the early 1980s, then changed that to 7 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches by 1985. However the seller lists the measurements as 12 by 7 inches. So I'm not sure where those extra 4 inches came from. It's possible that he or she is measuring it with the bottom panel and the top of the flap pulled out as far as possible, while Coach usually measures bags "stuffed" and squared off at the seams as they are for photographs. Who knows?
Thank you Hyacinth, I've googled the Compact pouch and it's looks identical to me so I'm sure the seller has the measurements wrong. I will ask them

Hi! Would you mind taking a look a these bags? Just trying to be cautious on poshmark. Thanks so much

1. Chrystie

2.Dinky?

3. Pocket?
The first two are genuine. But I'm concerned about the third. The underline in "No" seems too large and so does the hyphen between the two parts of the serial number. We really need a better creed photo. More opinions are welcome.
I'm not seeing a problem with the number but with the spacing on the creed body. This is a close creed from my files, and it doesn't match. I don't think I have any examples in my files with that spacing.

Dear Authenticators,
Could you kindly have a look at this tiny bag? In my possession, purchased from a thrift shop for $10. The dimensions are 7”x6.5”x3”. The strap drop is 5”. It has a black metal Bonnie Cashin tag, but no other label.
I don't know if you got an answer yet. It's authentic. Great find! It was made in the mid to late 1960s.

Could anyone please help me to authenticate this bag from Mercari? It is not in a good condition. One side thread is loose. The leather is soft. The tag is missing.
Item: J8P-9814
Measurements: H7*L10.5*D2.5

Thank you!

Please post a link to the Mercari listing as well as the seller ID. (Both are required as per the first post at the top of every page as well as post #1 on the first page of the thread.)

I'm sorry but the bag is fake.
