I suspected that's who you were referring to. So it was in that private group and he deemed it as authentic? SEriously?!?!?
In this particular group, the group's posts are public; in order comment, you need to join it. For a prior listing he posted, someone asked if it was authentic. He responded he would not post a link if he didn't think it was authentic. Seriously.

Hello authenticators, my first time posting so hope I do this right! Just discovered you all, and hoping for confirmation that a bag I purchased is authentic.

Item: Devon
Listing number: unsure
Seller: closet_space_13 / Poshmark

Comments: From what I understand of creeds and serial numbers, this bag should be from the 1980s. The leather is very soft. I haven’t had hands on many vintage Coach bags, but one thing that surprised me is the interior zip pocket has one side that seems to have no color (it’s the reverse side of the leather piece where the creed is printed).

Attaching supplemental pictures below per guidelines. Thanks for your evaluation!

It's authentic. Probably from the early 90s. I believe the style was introduced in 1992. It's fairly common to find the inside of the pocket undyed.

Please post a link to the Mercari listing as well as the seller ID. (Both are required as per the first post at the top of every page as well as post #1 on the first page of the thread.)

I'm sorry but the bag is fake.

Thank you for authenticating this. I actually read the post before posting. I am not sure if I already bought this one, do I still need to post the link and seller ID?

If an item is or was listed online and whether or not you bought it, we want seller ID and links. That way, IDs sellers of fakes or trusted seller IDs are searchable and other members can look up the history.

And in this case, since the seller sold a fake, it's especially important to have a link to the lisitng and the name because it can hep future buyers who might be searching an ID.
