I am sorry, this is my second post in as many days, but I love the color of this one and must know if it’s authentic!! Thank you sooooo much!!

Item: Compartment bag (?)
Seller: anon_adventurer on MercarI
Link: https://merc.li/RwP65Ampb
Comments: not sure about that serial number because it’s 8 digits. Thank you!!

It's genuine, probably a style 9850 Compartment Bag from the late 1980s.

The name "Mauve" that the seller is using doesn't sound right, "mauve" implies a pale pinky-purple or lavender undertone and Coach didn't have any colors during that time period that fit that description. Assuming the color in the photos is close to how it looks in real life, it might be Putty or some other shade in the Taupe family, but please don't get your hopes up that it's going to be what most people think of as Mauve.

  • If the bag in question is not on an auction site, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
    Link (if available):
Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.)
    • Please be sure to include a clear readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number from inside the bag or accessory if there is one, and the bag's measurements when the bag is an older or vintage leather Coach.
    • Since mid-2014, Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds so in newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining, or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number.

Hi, I recently got these from my local thrift store and I was wondering if they are authentic. Thank you!

Item: Coach Brown clutch and Coach Station Bag

Comments: The leather feels very nice and soft for both. They didn’t come with straps unfortunately. I tried getting the best picture of the Coach creed of the black bag but this was the best I can get. Thank you again!

Both are genuine, the Station Bag was made in 1995.

1- We recommend that members use tPF's Forum Search feature to check on sellers' histories for a good reason. The first seller STATION_85 has a very long history here, and it's NOT a good one. It doesn't just include fakes but also a lot of items that were Significantly Not As Described because of condition issues, nasty smells especially cigarette smoke, and other delights.
https://forum.purseblog.com/search/11370380/?q=station_85&t=post&o=date
That ID's history at the old Toolhaus website (no longer active) was even worse. It listed all of an Ebay seller's Negative and Neutral feedbacks, and the history of those feedbacks under that ID was so long that the page default would only give a partial list because the default maximum was 1000 feedbacks and only about half the total Negs and Neutrals were able to be viewed. They keep their Feedback percentage high because of the large volume they sell.

Here's just their last 12 months Feedback posted on Ebay:
Neutrals:
https://www.ebay.com/fdbk/feedback_...age:RECEIVED_AS_SELLER&_trksid=p2047675.l2560

Negatives:
https://www.ebay.com/fdbk/feedback_...age:RECEIVED_AS_SELLER&_trksid=p2047675.l2560

I'm not comfortable authenticating items by that seller.

2- It looks genuine, from 1996

3- genuine Sonoma Small Flap Nubuc

#1 sounds very scary. Thanks for the lowdown on the seller. I’ll make sure to research the sellers.
