Hoping to get an authentication on this bag. I jumped on it because there was one many months ago that I hadn't purchased and I couldn't get it out of my mind ever since. I'm don't own much vintage Coach, but I simply loved the cut out design of this one, even if missing the hang tag.

Seller: krit11
Listing: https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintage-COACH-Black-Leather-Tote-Bag-5edb2c889bd5efc9ed2aa2ee
Item name: unsure - tote with logo cut out design

I have the bag in hand if any more pictures or details are needed. Thank you!

Thank you! I know sometimes the older bags can go a little rogue from standards, and I found a few others online with the slightly odd hardware, but of course those could be fakes too, so I wanted to be sure.

It's an authethentic Kent Bag, style 9916, probably made some time in 1993. Hard to say what exact color it is, Forest Green was available in the early part of that year and replaced by Bottle Green more toward Autumn. Catalog pictures often don't reproduce colors very well so I don't like trying to guess what it actually might be, but we can eliminate British Green. Coach AFAIK never used that name or British Racing Green either. The Made In line would have just said Made In the United States. Except for the original A plant in NYC, the location of the other 3 USA plants open at that time still isn't known for sure. One might have been in Miami and another in Puerto Rico.
Thank you so much for your valuable insight and support x
