Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:
  • FOR ITEMS LISTED ONLINE:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I don't think Poshmark sellers have the authority to accept returns. I believe you have to do it by reporting a problem to Poshmark. Don't accept the purchase!

ETA: I would keep my complaint simple. "Hardware color is silver, not gold as described. Large pen mark not pictured in listing."

Ooooh I'm sure you're right. Another first for me, initiating a Poshmark return. She hasn't responded to my message yet. Hope that's not a bad sign. I was hoping she'd understand and be ok with it.

Don't worry if she's ok with it - Poshmark will make the determination. I would be clear and concise like suggested and also add the color is not sunflower as another reason, explaining that sunflower had gold hardware, which is what you thought you were getting. As a buyer, I've only had a couple returns and I've had good luck when I just stick to the facts of why the listing wasn't described accurately. To start the process, just be sure to select "problem with order" instead of accepting it. Once you accept, that's it.

OK thanks for the tip. I'm doing it now. I wonder should I upload a photo of the ink mark as it gives me an option to do?

Personally I would want to see the serial number. There's an important and unique feature in the serial numbers of most if not all 2004 bags from Costa Rica.

Please post a clear photo of the entire creed and serial number when you get the bag.

Thanks! I just edited my post because I thought it wasn’t enough info but didn’t realize you were responding at the same time. I’ll just come back when I have a photo of the creed, which makes most sense. I guess I was anxious to get another opinion because the seller wasn’t responding. It should just be “4” not “04” for Costa Rica? I remember reading that.
