I am not Authenticator, but would like to recommend you to have the black one authenciated by Authenticators here. There is red flag in the hardware shown in the photo. Unless the turn lock is a replacement, otherwise very possible the bag is not legitimate.
The black one is a bag I have for personal use and have had it for years. At this point, it would do me no good to have it authenticated. I don't plan on selling it and it's one of my favorite bags.

Thanks for all your help! What things stood out to you? I've been collecting Coach bags for years, but obviously some are good enough to get by me! As for the black one, I've had it for years and it's just part of my private collection, so I'm not looking to have that one authenticated.

Unfortunately, I waited too long and can't return it. Good thing it was only $25!

If you funded the payment with either Paypal or a credit card, you can still file a dispute. With PP, buyers have 180 days to file disputes. With a credit card, you have (I believe) 90 days after learning that an item is fake to open a dispute. (Some companies don't put a limit since it's illegal to have sold a fake and for illegal items, a dispute has no timeframe.)

As for the black one, I get it that you use the bag, don't plan to sell and don't care about authenticity but if it ever gets donated, that would keep the fake in circulation. And to add insult to injury, not only would a buyer be scammed with a fake (as you were) but many thrift stores charge a lot of money for a fake bag that they don't recognize as such.

  • Item: Coach Willis (vintage)
    Purchased on Poshmark
  • I keep going back and forth about this bag. Everything seems accurate, and it's gorgeous, but I'm still not 100% sure it's real. That being said, if it's fake, it's a damn good one! It's made from gorgeous leather, all solid brass hardware that is identical to Coach hardware, etc. The image of the hardware is the bag in question next to another Willis that I own for comparison. I've had a few vintage Coach bags in this British tan and the ones that are "newer" or in better condition always seem to look a little weird before they're broken in. Note: The strap is a replacement that I purchased.
  • My main concerns: the texture of the leather on the inside of the flap (it IS leather) and the logo on the creed has 2 frames

The bag is fake. Return it.

Also, in that last picture, you are showing a comparison of the back of a turnlock from a black bag. Is there a reason for that comparison? You should get that one authenticated too.

Note that the seller also has a fake Dooney:

While some fakes I swear can be seen from a mile away because they scream FAKE, it never ceases to amaze me how well faked some bags look until it comes to the creed, and other small details.
I bought a fake court bag early on in my dedicated Coach quest, and realized it when I began to soak it. That was not too long before I found tPF. Since it was $5, I decided to keep it with my other bags  as a reminder what's out there!!!

I contacted the seller, she sent me a link to her direct PayPal email, and I can't pay outside eBay platform. Will ask her to verify if she put the correct PayPal email in her account. Thanks.
You should be able to pay directly to PP. Pay for "goods and services" and put in the ebay item number.

Unless ebay is glitchy, that should go through.
