The "Hall of Shame" comments, litterally calling the person by their name when everyone here can hide behind their made-up names. Listing every mistake they think this person ever made going back to 2012 as if no one else here ever made mistakes. By the way, this seller ( I looked) has over 5,000 positive feedbacks on Ebay with 100% positive. Someone asked this group to verify a bag...simple as that but you went off on this person (not you personally but two authenticators) with a vendetta. Done.

The vendetta isn't on our side. Since he started posting at Ebay at least 6 or 7 years ago AFAIR we've tried to give him as much useful information as possible to try and help him winnow out the fakes that he'd been selling on a regular basis, but apparently that wasn't enough. READ THE POSTS. Your presence here today is another attempt to try and give him more ammuntion, but by now everyone who's not on his team knows his methods and his history. They can see through him at Ebay, and they're even getting fed up with him at Poshmark.

"The "Hall of Shame" comments, litterally calling the person by their name when everyone here can hide behind their made-up names. Listing every mistake they think this person ever made going back to 2012 as if no one else here ever made mistakes..."

That wasn't even close to a full list of all his mistakes, and some were doozys. So it's perfectly OK for him to tell other authenticators that they're wrong, but he's always right?

And calling himself a Professional Authenticator??? I think Ebay may have rules about that, I'll have to check. I don't think even real Professional Authenticators who do it for a living and get paid for it are allowed to authenticate their own Ebay listings especially when they don't disclose in the listing that the seller and authenticator are one and the same. Kind of a conflict of interest, you know?

Not sure the name-calling is appropriate.

what name calling?

Huh? I went back to my post to see what could possibly be interpreted as "name calling" and saw nothing! There was no name-calling; just a few posts (from among many here on TPF) that disputed a post in which someone stated that the seller only sells authentic items.

Seriously?
Since I don't believe in coincidences...

Try being the SUBJECT of the name-calling and see how YOU like it. And I suggest you carefully read all those posts BeenBurned linked to. Your hero has feet of glass.

Here are a few more:

Please pay attention to the other posters' opinions of " vintagecoach4less " and " azuremerekat " too.

Someone should have mentioned this to you since he was banned twice for violating this rule, but at this site only board-approved authenticators are allowed to give authentication opinions. Please don't do it again or your post will be reported and removed. And please, if you happen to see him, tell Dale to at least educate his minions before he sends them out to do his dirty work. Not to do so is DECEIVING. VERY deceiving, in fact.
Wow! I thought this was a professional forum. And before you attack me, I nobody’s minion. Just love Coach bags and interacting with those who feel the same way. That’s the ONLY reason I signed up. I had heard good things about this forum but now I’m not so sure.lll

Good morning, Authenticators. My head is hung in shame as I admit to an impulse purchase from Memorial Day weekend.

Coach Lime Green Vintage Bucket Bag
https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m6712396623
Seller: Brandyhill
Item number: not sure I see one on Mercari

Despite not seeing the Creed, I thought the color looked right. (don't yell at me) Also, the tags from these bags are often split. As I've received it, the bag actually looks like it was made like last week--a seemingly brand new Maggie bucket, 9019. So, here's a photo of the creed. Hoping for good news. Thank you in advance. ETA: this serial number is making me nervous.

View attachment 4745377

The serial number should make you nervous, serial numbers with "J" plant codes are mentioned in Part 1 of the Daria48Fake Numbers List
"D2J- serial number prefixes whenever they're part of a creed stamp that says the bag was made in the US. That code sequence was ONLY used for bags made in a Chinese plant, never an American one. And ALL serial prefixes with J as the third digit and a "Made in the US" creed need to be carefully authenticated, since the "J" plant in the US originally made only clothing items.
Since 1999 the J plant was ONLY used by a Chinese plant and should NEVER be found in any bags with creeds saying they were made in the USA...."

It's kind of buried in there,

Hello,
Could you please review this listing and let me know if this bag is authentic. Thank you so much.
Item: Coach Red Leather Crossbody J0D-9135
Listing #: 283813259137
Seller/Site: newmanald-0 Ebay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-Auth-C...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
Comments: I got burned on this bag model before and just want to be sure. I think that per the creed the bag was made in 2000 in the D plant in the US. I always have problems knowing when a US plant stopped production or just did not produce that item.

That one is fine.

No one's minion either. I've read the ugly comments on Ebay forum and most of them started with the same people that are on here not this seller that you continue to badger and pick on. You humiliate people and then wonder why they push back. A moderator there called out the nasty comments....not from this seller but by the authenticator who told a person who made an honest mistake that they might as well told someone to drink bleach. Those comments were deleted.
You were asked to authenticate a bag on this page by someone who asked you to do so. You refused because you don't like the seller. How is that professional?
As I said, not a minion, just someone who knows a Mean Girls Club when I see one. Don't worry, I won't be on this page any longer...you are not needed.

This sellers items are very authentic. This is a beautiful bag in a gorgeous color! You are protected by ebay as a buyer so you should not have to worry about his items in general, and this one in particular.

Please note the forum Rules, I'm surprised you don't remember them. The first page has changed. So in case you missed my earlier posts to cathbellivea-0:
Note: The PurseForum requests that only members with an extensive knowledge of the brand and authenticating who have over 500 posts participate as authenticators in this AT thread. The moderators reserve the right to remove authentications that do not meet these requirements.

Didnt Dale ever tell you WHY he was banned from tPF? Twice, if I remember right.

You don't know the backstory but there's a lot more to this problem than meets the eye. Make sure you know both sides before judging.

I take issue with the tone of the posts. I do have some questions though. You alluded to having authority from the board of Authenticators. What gives that board their power? And are you and the other authenticators on that board? The reason I ask is because I am a professional in my field. I had to get college degrees and professional certifications. I answer to a state board that has been empowered to enforce the laws and rules of my profession. I had to pass a very stringent national exam and meet education and experience requirements.

If I present myself in my professional capacity, whether I receive compensation or not, I must do so by following professional standards that are dictated by a totally independent authority, that being the state board where I am licensed. Bottom line? What are your qualifications to be considered not just a knowledgeable person, but an expert? I don’t present myself as a handbag Authenticator so I would like to know. If it’s just experience, anyone could learn to do this. I’ve learned much on my own.

I just don’t understand why this forum can’t be focused in a more positive direction. Whatever your feelings are you should’ve helped the person who asked for it. Lacking that you should’ve remained silent. That would’ve been more professional. That person will likely never come to this group again for advice.
