Hello authenticators,
I'm looking for your help authenticating what I think is a Classic Shoulder bag (Style 9170) in what looks like Tabac. I am not sure of the source, but it's in my collection. The leather feels awfully thin/stiff not sure of that is due to age (80s?) or whether this is a fake. Adding a few additional photos of the buckle area since it's weirdly off center.

Approx 10x8x4. Thanks as always for your help!

I don't see any problems. The creed stamping looks OK. Remember, Coach bags weren't perfect. Has the bag ever been dunked and conditioned?

More opinions are welcome

Hello authenticators!
I'm looking for your help authenticating what I believe is a 1998 Tribeca Flap. It is from my own collection, not sure of the source. The creed is VERY faded, but I believe it is A8D-9092 after searching for examples. I've zoomed in and attempted to turn up the contrast.
Roughly 9.5 x 9 x 2

Thank you as always for your help!

Looks good to me too.

Comments: Hi all! I am wondering if this is authentic and if so what it's called. The perforation embellishments are interesting and I think unusual. As always, your help is much appreciated!

I've seen the style before. I can't remember what it is called. This can't be authenticated without a creed picture.

That creed picture is pretty hard to see. I asked the seller to post a clearer one already. If/when they do I'll repost. Thanks Whateve!

We still need to see that creed and serial photo to authenticate but it looks like a style 9217 Legacy East Perforated Mini Hobo from around 2001-02, the measurements in my files match the seller's measurements. There's also a syle 9218 but I don't have any details although it must be a larger version.

ETA - I'm a bit worried about the inside pocket zipper though. The zipper looks too short for the pocket, unless that's a factory mistake:

Here's the best I can do with the creed, click on the thumbnail:

ETA - and I came across this while looking through my creed files. It's the same style and the serial details and codes look the same. From the serial number details I'd say it's genuine and the wonky inside pocket zipper was a plant mistake:

Thank you! I did an initial conditioning/cleaning and it needs another round so I wanted to check to be sure it looked ok to the experts before I went too far. Funny thing is I have another one of these somewhere that looks similarly crooked along the rivets.

As far as bags not being *quite* perfect it's true - good to remember that it's Coach, not first class. ;)

Oh, wow! Thank you! I tried zooming in on that creed too, but still couldn't make it out too well. I really appreciate the time you took to look into it. You're amazing! I am still waiting for the seller to respond to my request... Sometimes they never do, unfortunately. I'll let you know if they post a better picture. Thank you again!! :)

Not only is the serial number font completely wrong for any bag made in September 1995 in the "M" plant, but the Coach logo above the creed has a border around it that's wrong. There are probably other mistakes that Regina owners can spot too.

Here's a GENUINE creed and serial from the M plant one month later than the month indicated in the fake's serial number:

I believe it's 9217 and I have it as Legacy East Perforated Mini Hobo.

I'm not sure this helps but this is a picture of the pocket from my bag. Unfortunately, I don't have the bag any more so I can't get a better picture of the right side of the zipper.

I don't see any problems with the bag on Mercari.
