Hello everyone. I'm new here. I have recently developed an obsession with Vintage Coach purses, and would like to request an authentication. Thank you all for doing this.

Item: Coach Dinky?
Serial: 598-2145
Made in: New York City

Seller: fabfinds
Site where listed : Mercari

There's really no way to identify it. The serial number and creed stamp details are barely readable, all I can say is that it was made in New York City so it was made before 1988. There don't seem to be any measurements in the listing, the seller just describes it as "large" which doesn't tell us anything. The one thing I'm sure of is that it's NOT a Dinky, the strap attachment is wrong and the bag looks too big, but without more photos of the sides and the entire bottom, and knowing the measurements and how the strap is attached, it's hard to tell what style it is. It's probably genuine, but we can't even see the entire strap to check if it's been altered. And if the seller says it has a "minor stain on the front" she should show a clear photo of the stain. If you're looking for a specific size or strap length you need to ask the seller for more information.

Edited To Add - If I had to guess, I'd say it might be a Convertible Clutch but there's no way to know for sure. It could have either a 36-inch or a 44-inch strap, there's no way to know which of those it has. If that's what it is, it would measure about 11x7 inches.

I wonder if the "stain" is a faint vertical line (fading?) running up the flap just to the left of center.

I'm seeing 4 creeds for 5 bags. The bags with the 4 creeds shown are authentic. I don't know about the 5th.
Ok trying again to see if I can coax enough info out of this faded creed patch. Also I was wrong about the style-- not a Monteray Hobo but a Macdougal Zip style 4130, measurements 8 1/2" long x 6" tall x 4 1/4" deep (it cleaned up pretty good)IMG_1993.jpgIMG_1889.jpgIMG_1923.jpgIMG_1925.jpg

Comments: Hi all! I am wondering if this is authentic and if so what it's called. The perforation embellishments are interesting and I think unusual. As always, your help is much appreciated!
I've seen the style before. I can't remember what it is called. This can't be authenticated without a creed picture.

Hello authenticators!
I'm looking for your help authenticating what I believe is a 1998 Tribeca Flap. It is from my own collection, not sure of the source. The creed is VERY faded, but I believe it is A8D-9092 after searching for examples. I've zoomed in and attempted to turn up the contrast.
Roughly 9.5 x 9 x 2

Thank you as always for your help!

Hello authenticators,
I'm looking for your help authenticating what I think is a Classic Shoulder bag (Style 9170) in what looks like Tabac. I am not sure of the source, but it's in my collection. The leather feels awfully thin/stiff not sure of that is due to age (80s?) or whether this is a fake. Adding a few additional photos of the buckle area since it's weirdly off center.

Approx 10x8x4. Thanks as always for your help!
