Hello authenticators,

I'm looking for your help verifying the authenticity of this Spectator Madison Satchel. (Bone #6765? Late 80s or early 90s?) This is another one from my collection, approximately 11 x 8.5 x 6 across the base? The shoulder strap is missing.

As always, thanks so much for your help!

Hello authenticators,

I'm looking for your help verifying that this 4143 Worth bag is authentic. It's from my collection, not sure where I found it. It's about 11.5 long x 7.5 tall and 4.75" across the base though it's a bit mishapen.

I have an authentic Worth and I can't spot any differences between the two but this color looks like periwinkle. Since I know that's difficult to see, did the Soho line actually come in periwinkle? Poking around, I couldn't find any other Worth bags in this color. The color is a bit duller in person.

As always, thanks for your help!

It's authentic. Soho bags came in periwinkle. I have a periwinkle belted pouch made in 1997.

It's authentic. I'm jealous of the condition! The trim on mine has darkened considerably.

The first one is probably okay. The second one is fake.

Hi again,

I found another same bag as the black Legacy Slim Duffle bag with creed attached.
Earlier bag was H0C - 9816 (Authenticated)
This one is J4K - 9816

Question :
1. Is the first one made in year 2000? Based on the '0' in the middle.
2. Is the 2nd creed also authentic?

Thank you and do let me know if you need more info.

We need to see the link and seller ID (see post at top of each page) where the item is listed.

When FriedMacaroni abandoned that lot on Poshmark I thought I'd give it a go. The 4 creed patches match with a Convertible Clutch, a Dinky, a Soho Rivington and one other I haven't identified. The navy Montery Hobo is the missing creed (I think) and I'll post it here, but its virtually illegible-- maybe why she left it out. The seller also included a 6th bag, a Station bag missing it's strap, and photos are also attached. If possible can these be authenticated? The station bag looks fine. I can't read the other creed. I was tempted by that lot, then decided I didn't want any more projects.

Having a hard time attaching quotes but i think this is the history...

Hi! I have another Poshmark request (I'm sorry, I'll try to make it the last one) that just seems too good to be true. It's a listing of 5 vintage bags that would be great to practice rehabbing. The styles are the leather "Made in the United States" and the numbers are hard to read. Any opinions would be welcome.

I'm seeing 4 creeds for 5 bags. The bags with the 4 creeds shown are authentic. I don't know about the 5th.

Interesting that some (if not all) of those bags were previously sold. I wonder why they're for sale again.

Note that if this is one of the bags in that listing, there's a reason for the missing creed. That bag is fake. (Again, I'm not sure whether this is one of the bags in the lot.)

I don't think it is the same bag. I think the navy blue Soho is probably the one missing the creed picture.

Hi BeenBurned,

The photo is from a local seller from my place. It was sold via chat group platform here (not via Ebay or Amazon etc).
That bag is fake. In the future, we can't authenticate with just one picture. We need pictures of the bag as well as the creed. Not in this case, though. The creed is enough.

Hi~
May I have an authentication please? This is from the shopgoodwill.com site. I am concerned about the "DJC" serial prefix letters.
https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/92167860

It's fake. Serial number prefixes from that period should always have a number as the year code. Any prefix where all 3 characters of the prefix are letters is fake. Just be careful not to mistake a zero for the letter "o".
