I wasn’t able to remove photos. The link you posted is correct. In the photo (see just posted) is the creed the seller sent to me after asking for it.

Genuine, and made somewhere in the US in 1998. Except for New York City, there aren't any dependable records of what the other US plant codes were although one possibilty is Miami. Puerto Rico is another possibility.

I'm really not comfortable with that bag, the serial number stamping isn't what I expect. There really should be more photos such as the back of the front flap showing a clear closeup of the turnlock back plate and its 4 prongs, and a side-to-side photo of the inside pocket showing the zipper and all the way to the outside edge of the pocket.

The strap definitely was NOT made by Coach.

More opinions are needed.

I agree with @whateve and have included comps from my records showing the identical wrong font for 1999 B creeds on other fakes.


I also noticed that she sold that bag before but it appears the sale was canceled when the buyer noticed that the strap wasn't original. Yet the non-coach strap wasn't disclosed in the new listing. This is the previous listing:

The pricing was too good to be true and I blame my quarantine spending habits I do not wish to publicly accuse the seller of selling a counterfeit- any advice on what to do? For now I asked her to hold on shipping and I contacted Poshmark telling them it is a counterfeit.
