Hello there experts,

I came across two handbags this weekend and would like to see if they are genuine or fakes. The first is j3j-6818. I read that this is a commonly faked Coach, but I don’t want to assume one way or another. The second is c0720-f10280. I can provide more pictures if needed. Thanks in advance!

Hello all,
I'm a long time TPF'er (OG from the Hermes board) but new to the Coach boards. Can you authenticate this bag for me? It's a large carry on bag but the creed looks off to me? I tried getting a good pic of the creed but it's hard to see the bottom text lines of the creed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Item Name: Uncertain, but end code is 0503. It's a big carry all bag.
Photos (attached).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Help everyone!
I hope to get your help to authenticate this bag. I live outside of US, so I would love to make sure the bag is authentic before paying for extra shipping and duty fees.

I really don't have a good feeling about that bag. The details of the bag itself don't seem "off" but I can't find photos of a comp from the same period and plant that's indicated in the serial number codes. The font used in the serial is also wrong for the plant indicated in the codes, especially one specific detail. Serial fonts used in early creeds starting in 1995 are pretty distinctive and this one has a problem.

Looking for any item at all in my photo files with exactly the same serial font, this is the only one I can find: Every detail except the number sequence itself looks identical to me. The only problem is that the creed below is from a fake. The year code is for 1996 but that style number 9134 belongs to a bag called a Hippie Flap that wasn't even introduced until Fall of 1999, three years AFTER the date code in the questionable serial. Here's the creed from the fake bag, compare the numbers and letters in the 2 serial numbers. There's also one detail in the questionable serial number that shouldn't be in any bag made in the "D" plant in1996.:

and here's a genuine creed and serial with the same J6D- production codes as the fake pictured above but a totally different font that I've never seen in a genuine bag of any kind with the same production codes.

I don't believe the bag is genuine.
More opinions are welcome

I agree, the bag is fake.
Count me as #3 for fake.

Although @Hyacinth couldn't find another bag from the same month/year/plant, not only was I was able to find picture of a creed with prefix, I googled and found one from the same style bag. So the full serial number is identical. (I wonder if it's the same bag.)

Both have the same mistakes and both are from fake bags.
