• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Thanks very much @Hyacinth! Do you have any thoughts on when the Portfolio was made or the official name?

The glued-in number would probably be from the mid to late 1970s or very early 1980s. It's probably a style 5040 Portfolio and yes, Portfolio was the official name.

There's an important picture missing.

Hidden somewhere inside the bag should be a small white tag with 2 rows of characters/production information. You may have to feel around, going deep into pockets and perhaps having to pull out the lining and turn the pocket inside out to find and photograph it.

How did I do with this eBay purchase? I bought it on a whim. The first two pics are mine and the second two are from the eBay post.

I believe it’s a genuine 2006 Chelsea, but I didn’t find many bags with this color and the creed stamped L0693-10399.

After I uploaded my pics, I see the faint X on the creed - would that mean factory or exclusive for a department store?

I'm glad to know that should we decide to sell on Poshmark (which I doubt I ever will), I'll block benmack1212 before I start.

Assuming she's the middleman, she's likely to be making a profit on the bag when she sells to her "client" so a $7.50 investment in a pro might be a good investment that benmack1212 can tack onto her price plus possibly add more once there's documentation!

I've never heard of Keeks and I know some "professional" authentication companies have made a lot of mistakes. There's just one I'd use for Coach.
