Thank you, I'm glad too! I am so disappointed in how much trouble it is to sell these bags. I thought it would be fun but it's stressful and annoying. I think after I sell what I need to sell, I'm done. I'll just stick to buying bags to keep. I don't know.
I don't sell online, but many people do here and it seems without a lot of difficulty. Maybe you are getting a crop of problems early on. I hope you don't let this discourage you!

May I please request an authentication of this Court bag in my possession? I listed it for sale on eBay yesterday and my listing was removed because someone said it's fake or eBay determined it to be fake. I'm a very new seller so now I have no idea what to do. This bag was authenticated here but I can't find the post. Someone else had requested the authentication but when the item hadn't sold after a few days I made an offer not it. The old link is no longer active in My eBay. Can I relist this? How do I argue with eBay that it's not fake? Thank you. ETA: the strap is not a Coach strap and I was very clear about that in my listing.

Authenticators, I dont know if this helps but I did find the original requestor's inquiry into the bag I'm trying to sell. It was authenticated! I bought the bag on July 13, 2018. Thank you.

I have actually had the same issue recently as did another seller I know. The problem with ebay seems to be highly faked bags with registration numbers as opposed to the modern style numbers. Call ebay and explain that the bag has been authenticated here. (Ebay removes bags that are deemed fake here, so accepting an authentication is the other side of the same coin). I was told to include the authentication information in my listing ( because links are not permitted on ebay listings anymore, I included a screen shot of the authentication, as well as an explanation of the site / process). I relisted the bag and it sold with no problems.
I think @Roro may have been lucky that the listing wasn't removed again. A removed listing should NEVER be relisted without going through the appeal process and getting written permission.

If the listing was removed as "counterfeit" as opposed to a seller without a lot of experience and removed as a precaution, relisting can have negative effects on your account, including restrictions from listing the brand or as serious as being suspended.

If you copy the email message so we can see how it's worded, I might be able to advise. (A recent listing of a genuine Coach bag was posted on ebay's fashion board but for whatever reason, the poster ignored requests to copy the message.)

I'm so sorry this happened because so many sellers with "real" fakes never get listings removed yet other sellers' authentic bags are taken down.

Here is a copy and paste of the email I received from eBay:
"We had to remove your listing because it didn’t follow our Counterfeit item policy. We don’t allow counterfeit items, replicas, or unauthorized copies.
What activity didn't follow the policy
- Limited selling history

What you need to do next

-- Bootleg recordings from concerts or other live shows
-- Unauthorized or pirated copies of movies, videos or software
- Listings with photos that hide or blur trademarks are not allowed
- If you’re not certain that your item is authentic, it may not be listed
- We may remove authentic items if we receive buyer complaints that the item is not authentic. These items may not be relisted

How this affects your account
Because you may not have been aware of this policy, we're sending this notice to educate you about it and ask that you follow this policy in the future.

- Listings that didn't follow this policy have been ended.

Why we have this policy

This policy prevents the sale of counterfeit items, which are illegal, and could expose sellers to legal risk. Removing them protects sellers and their buyers from buyer protection claims and financial loss." - eBay

It looks like it might be because of my limited selling history? How do I build my seller reputation if they won't let me sell things?

Well, I am discouraged. But as irritating as this is, I am still glad to some extent that ebay does take measures to protect buyers, even if they're still ironing out the wrinkles in their policies.

Selling is the worst part. It makes it harder to buy since you know you'd have to resell if you don't like.

WTF?!?! Your "policy violation" is that you don't have a history? That's ridiculous! Although it explains why linda*s***stuff with her 800K feedback is allowed to get away with selling hundreds of fakes, NONE of which are removed!

It stinks because they're telling you that you can't even relist so how are you supposed to build a history and reputation if they don't allow you to do so?

You've been around here long enough to know what pictures and description to include in your listings so I'm guessing you had a good listing even if you don't have a lot of "selling history." How many pictures were in the listing? Was the description complete with measurements, disclosure of condition, etc.?

It looks like it might be because of my limited selling history? How do I build my seller reputation if they won't let me sell things?

Interesting--I went through my messages to see what ebay had sent me for my bag that they removed. I've been selling on ebay for 20 years, including many, many Coach bags during that time. Yet, the email that I received was identical to Morgan's. So, no, not due to your limited selling history. As I read the email, I was reminded that the ebay CS rep who was actually helpful did encourage a longer, more detailed description. That resulted in some repetition but, with the authentication screen shots, the listing was not removed before the sale. Because the whole listing disappears when it's removed, I took new photos and wrote a new description to relist.

Do folks here who use ebay find that there are better times to call ebay than others? I am on the East Coast and I try to call later on weekdays--after 9pm here, if I can manage that. It seems that I am more likely to get a CS rep who does not so much script-read as actually listen and think before responding. Could just be luck, though. I am curious if others see something similar.
