For further information, please refer to the first post on page 1 of this thread.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:
  • FOR ITEMS LISTED ONLINE:
    Item:
    Listing number:
    Seller and site where listed
    Link:
    Comments:

  • FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ONLINE:
    Item:
    Where purchased or how obtained
    Comments:
BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.
Thank you and be safe!

BeenBurned, the seller took the pictures. I've had the two exterior pictures for a couple of days, and she just took the creed picture maybe an hour ago and that was probably done with artificial lighting.

What is the serial number? It's hard to read the style number. And it's not a Trail Bag, I'm still trying to figure out what it is.

May I please request an authentication of this Court bag in my possession? I listed it for sale on eBay yesterday and my listing was removed because someone said it's fake or eBay determined it to be fake. I'm a very new seller so now I have no idea what to do. This bag was authenticated here but I can't find the post. Someone else had requested the authentication but when the item hadn't sold after a few days I made an offer not it. The old link is no longer active in My eBay. Can I relist this? How do I argue with eBay that it's not fake? Thank you. ETA: the strap is not a Coach strap and I was very clear about that in my listing.

Authenticators, I wanted to alert you of a bag I found on Ebay that looks suspicious ( to me). When I asked the Seller to post the Creed legibly, he sends me a picture only to me via email, instead of uploading it. If its fake, what are the steps to take to report it ?

Item: Vintage Red Coach Leather Handbag Purse Cross Body
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Red-Coach-Leather-Handbag-Purse-Cross-Body/163140911778
Seller: Westward Vintage
Item No. 163140911778
Authenticators, I dont know if this helps but I did find the original requestor's inquiry into the bag I'm trying to sell. It was authenticated! I bought the bag on July 13, 2018. Thank you.

I have actually had the same issue recently as did another seller I know. The problem with ebay seems to be highly faked bags with registration numbers as opposed to the modern style numbers. Call ebay and explain that the bag has been authenticated here. (Ebay removes bags that are deemed fake here, so accepting an authentication is the other side of the same coin). I was told to include the authentication information in my listing ( because links are not permitted on ebay listings anymore, I included a screen shot of the authentication, as well as an explanation of the site / process). I relisted the bag and it sold with no problems.

Side note, I’m glad for you that you have experience of the AT thread behind you for guidance on this.
It’s really irritating that most likely due to ignorance, it was reported because it did not have a post ‘93 style number.

Thank you very much for the advice! I will most definitely do this.

Thank you, I'm glad too! I am so disappointed in how much trouble it is to sell these bags. I thought it would be fun but it's stressful and annoying. I think after I sell what I need to sell, I'm done. I'll just stick to buying bags to keep. I don't know.

Good morning, does this Sheridan look OK? Local sale, so no link. Thank you!

A friend asked me to list several items for her that she's purchased over the years (some 15 years old or so), so I'll need to authenticate before I list. This one is a coated canvas type material with patent trim that's about 9.25" x 4.25" x 7". It does not have a creed patch, but seems genuine. Thank you for any assistance you can offer!IMG_0102.JPG IMG_0103.JPG IMG_0104.JPG IMG_0105.JPG
