It looks good. H is a valid factory code for US in the mid 90s and the authentic creeds look just like that one, with the H hanging down a little low and the dash extending from the center of the H.

Thanks Whateve! This is the first one I've seen that the creed is readable, which is why I was thinking maybe. I'm going to add this info to my little notebook.
Thanks again!

I don't see any problems.

Thank you!
Boy, do I have a lot to learn!

Well, you have to remember that Coach gets their leather from multiple sources, and where the leather comes from, how it's been tanned, how much it's been used, and what products the previous owner has used on it can all make a difference in how it feels.

As for stitching, Coaches are never prefect, no matter what those useless online "Authenticity Guides" claim.

Hello everyone. I have a Tradesy authentication for a change. Thanks for the help!

Seller = linda y

https://www.tradesy.com/bags/coach-vintage-leather-genuine-shoulder-bag-black-1940647/

We usually don't recommend dealing with Tradesy since they have a poor record of dealing with fakes and fakes sellers. But this particular bag looks genuine, even though the seller has a mistake in her blog that she refers to in the listing about a bag with a K3H- prefix that she thinks is genuine.
Actually I haven't heard of any buyers having a problem with buying a fake from Tradesy. Their policy completely protects buyers. There is free shipping both ways, so if you need to return it, it won't cost you anything. You'll get a store credit unless it is fake; then you get a complete refund.

It's the sellers who might have a problem with being blamed for selling a fake when the bag is in fact authentic.

Thank you Hyacinth!
That makes perfect sense. My Willis bag made in Costa Rica has a thinner & lighter leather than my Willis made in Turkey.

I like the bag but the seller has neg for selling a fake. Is this one genuine or also fake? If its real I may send a quick message

Thank you !

The seller has been discussed here at tPF on at least 2 other occasions for fake or questionable Coaches. The bag looks genuine though.

My experience differs, not as a buyer or a seller but as someone who has sent multiple emails to their admin and support teams with lists of fakes, why those items are fake, a bit of history about my experience in authenticating and links to TPF and the ebay fashion board suggesting that they not take my word for it but get other expert advice.

Not only did they not remove the fakes, not post to the boards, not post here and not remove any of the listings I reported but they allowed some to be sold to unwitting buyers.

I reported these shoes in January. ALthough it says "no longer available," they were available in mid-March.
https://www.tradesy.com/shoes/coach-brown-and-tan-fabric-sandals-1221358/?tref=category

Reported in January and sitll listed:
https://www.tradesy.com/accessories/coach-1257362/?tref=category

Reported in January and now sold to a ripped off buyer:
https://www.tradesy.com/accessories...r-charms-keychain-w-box-338880/?tref=category

Reported, not removed and now sold:
https://www.tradesy.com/accessories...enamel-key-chain-in-box-551225/?tref=category

That particular report was for a bunch of keychains from multiple sellers. I also reported several Dooney bags, also without action or response.

I stand by my opinion that Tradesy does NOT respond to reports of fakes. They are no better IMO than Listia and iOffer.
