This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.

    Link:
    Comments:

  • FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ONLINE:

  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.
Thank you and be safe!

Oh that just sucks! I had no idea. I cannot believe the world is full of scammers. These people can make money reselling items honestly, why stoop to cheating their way through life? It's so immoral. :-s

Thank you so, so much for that perspective. Is there a particular thread where your issues with Poshmark were discussed? I'd like to be better informed moving forward. I just cannot bear getting cheated again.
Sorry to go off-topic.
It's not only some of the sellers on Poshmark who are dishonest; it's the site itself that does nothing to keep a safe site.

Over the years, I've reported hundreds (probably closer to thousands) of fakes to PM using their "report" link and they've NEVER removed a reported listing. Occasionally, an honest seller will end her own listing when informed that an item is fake but that's rare. More likely is that the messenger will be blocked for outing the fake-selling seller!

And in cases where buyers have received fakes and filed disputes, PM's "experts" have denied that items are fake and given scammed buyers a hard time.

As for a particular thread where issues have been discussed, there are many!
This thread has pros and cons. (I've posted cons on it.) Does anyone use Poshmark?

Here's just one post where a member received a fake from a Poshmark seller. Poshmark gave her a hard time, denying that the item was fake, doing her a "favor" by allowing her to send the fake bag to them so their
experts could look at it and even when that happened, their "expert authenticators" didn't think the bag was fake.

Honestly, there are so many posts that it's nearly impossible to find them all!

Oh, and there was even a time when "BeenBurned" was a member there and was tagged to authenticate a bag. Unfortunately, because the dishonest seller didn't like being called out for having a fake, the dishonest site admin decided that BB wasn't allowed to be a member there!

In other words, they supported their dishonest seller over someone who was trying to help.

I have not purchased from Posh. Not gonna lie, if I stumbled on something amazing, maybe. But since I am not normally on there . . .
Based on the fact that in this thread you have showed honest sellers and honest buyers there get a hard time on Posh, I would rather stick with eBay and online GW, where at least they appear to support the buyer on returns/refunds for a bona fide fake.

Dear authenticators! Request to authenticate please. Thank you!
Item: Saddlery bag? just guessing...
Seller: thrift store (yes, I am in NY for the holidays!!! woow!hooow!)
Link: n/a
Comments; dimensions are about 9" wide, 7" height, 3.5" depth. Back of turn lock looks indented, it is smooth without indents.

To be fair (and hopefully @houseof999 will confirm), I think she ended up getting a refund from Poshmark, but NOT because the item was found to be fake, but because they were "doing her a favor" and refunding even though they didn't agree that it was fake.
