Comments: As just about every Coachie knows I have a weakness for the vintage Italian Coach products, so (once again) I gave in and bought this Madison French Purse Wallet in beechnut caviar leather - it looks to be in very good condition and comes with the original dustbag!

I can't imagine that it is anything but genuine but you are the experts, so if you see any problems please let me know. Thank you.

That's gorgeous! It's authentic. Congratulations!

Hi. I caved and bought a Coach Legacy West (9828) shoulder bag in ebay. The listing said it’s a vintage bag that looks new and in excellent condition. It’s my first time to buy in ebay and didn’t know about this forum until I’ve already paid for the bag. Anyway, I’d like to know if it’s authentic. I don’t have the bag yet but I have the photos from the original listing:

Welcome to tPF!

It's a genuine Legacy West Short Shoulder Flap, made in 2002. Technically it has 3 years to go before being classified as "vintage" since vintage is defined as 20 years old or older. It looks to be in very good condition. For future requests, you can simply post the URL or link to the auction since Ebay usually keeps the listing avavilable for at least 3 months after it's sold. That way you don't have to copy all the photos. If you read Post Number One of this thread, we request that the auction links and seller ID be included in authentication requests.

I picked this up in a thrift shop. I own one 70th anniversary Willis reissue bag in citron, and this looks fairly authentic to me. It was hard getting a good shot of the creed/serial number due to shine. The hardware seems to be worn in some places, and the inside is filthy...not sure how well it will clean up. I doubt (if it's authentic) my retail store will clean it for me as they do my other bags.
Any authentication and/or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Item: Used/Vintage (?) Coach Bag, looks like a "Worth" bag from what I've been able to find on here. Creed embossment says No. A5C-4143

Comments: This is my first Coach bag, I found it today at the thrift store I work at and my friend bought it for me as a birthday present. So this is also my first time trying to authenticate a bag and I apologize if I've left something out. There's another I may grab tomorrow as well, cause why not start new hobbies.
Anyways, I was curious if it were real and also if anyone could point me in the right direction to learn how to remove some ink stains on the inside and bottom, as well as a bit of bottom scuffing. I'm also curious how to straighten the shoulder strap back out, as someone had knotted it up (that's why it's crinkly). Thanks for any help anyone can provide. 20191217_182435.jpg 20191217_182602.jpg 20191217_182624.jpg 20191217_182519.jpg

It's authentic. Ink usually doesn't clean off. Sometimes you can make it worse by trying to remove it. You can give this bag a bath in warm soapy water. Soaking should help the strap. After you remove from the bath and rinse, you can dry the strap stretched out and weighted down so it dries flat. We have a rehab club full of pointers. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/coach-rehab-and-rescue-club.833400/

It's authentic. It's not called a court bag with pinch lock. It is called a Crosby bag. It was made in the early 90s.
