Item: I have no idea. It reminds me of a Regina? But shape is not exactly like the Regina. Crossing my fingers that I did not purchase a fake!
Seller: thrift store.
Link: n/a
Comments: dimensions are 7.5" height, 6" width, 2" depth. Handle drop about 2.5". Strap length is about 49". The creed is in the front slip pocket, not in the main compartment (like the Scooter bags) and was really difficult to get. I took a dozen photos and these were the best ones. Apologies for poor quality photos. Thank you for your time and help!!!

It's fine - Derby Bag, style 9904 from around 1992.

Valve it is a lovely color but I believe the pictures are over saturated the bag is much darker in real live.

Your right, probably it's more hunter / bottle green.

I think it could possibly be Jade:

It will be interesting to see it under different lighting if anyone here buys it. It could be Jade which was available on the Court only for a short time in 1995, I had a Court Bag in Jade from exactly the same plant, month and year and from what little I remember, the color was a bit darker but basically the same shade, The color looked more like the catalog photo catbird9 posted. It broke my heart to get rid of it but it was just too small for me and the strap was too short. :crybaby:

ETA - I just noticed who the seller is. Not only is she a tPF member but she's sold quite a few bags to Jed at the Archives. Her photos are usually pretty accurate.

Thank you @Hyacinth the strap does look short. As silly as it is that is the only thing holding me back.

If you want to verify authenticity (and as @whateve said, Goodwill's "authenticators" have made a lot of mistakes), you need to post a picture of the tag with the numbers as well as the made in label.

ETA: I'd also like to see a link to the original listing.

Hi, I just saw this . I really was looking for the style name as I'd never seen 1 like this- I love it because it's small & cute! I'm not real good with posting links (ha sorry) but I will post a pic of the tag for sure. Looks legit to me, but I'm no pro. Thank you!

Yep, my records for that purchase are at least 10 years old but my notes say the strap was only 38 inches, so maybe I was measuring it wrong. But I DO remember that it was much too short, and that must have been before I figured out how to use extra clips to extend a strap. Weird. :confused1:

BTW, see the ETA in that post about the seller. She lists a 19.5 inch strap drop which is a bit closer to what's in my notes on the bag I bought than it is to Coach's catalog measurement

Fabulous find...what a great colour.

The strap came with a vintage Coach Beekman but it was obvious the strap wasn’t the original. The color doesn’t match and it’s not adjustable like I’ve seen on most Beekmans. The actual briefcase does appear to be authentic. I’m assuming the original strap was lost and replaced with this one. I compared the clasp shape to the one on my Willis bag and it’s definitely different.

It could be from a fake bag but it wouldn't be the first time a wonky strap has been added to a genuine bag, I've done it myself with several of my own bags. But if you ever sell it, be sure to mention that the strap isn't original to the bag, the strap's origins are unknown and the color doesn't match exactly.

Weeeeell you sold me on it. I bought it, I do have a novelty strap if I find it's to short. I will show pictures as soon as she arrives. Bag ban right out the damn window. Lol, thank you again.
