Item: elephant keychain
Link: https://posh.mk/4TULzLODC1
Seller: rocky1967
Comment: just bought it so it hasn't shipped. Can you tell me how old + style number?

I've never seen this one before. I don't see anything wrong with it but I'd like to see the underside. I think it could have been made around the same time as my St. Bernard, which I think is from around 2011. It has the Coach name on the bottom. I'd like to see if this one does as well. I think it would be odd if there were no Coach markings on the elephant. More opinions welcome.

Did yours come with a pen to

Did yours come with a pen too?

I've never seen it before either but maybe it was for the Asian market. As Whateve said, there should be a Coach logo somewhere on the underside of the elephant.

ETA - It's hard to see from those photos but all I can see are what looks like 2 small round marks on the underside. I don't think elephants have 2 navels, front and back, do they? But so far, no Coach logo.

I got a reply. There no Coach stamp under the elephant.

The pig has a Coach stamp on the bottom.

It's blurry in this picture but that is what it is.

ETA: Here's a better one: https://www.tradesy.com/i/coach-pink-key-chain-with-rhinestone-eyes-rare/1698189/

ETA2: I can't find another example of an elephant like that one.

I just got another reply.

That would worry me. She didn't buy them from a retailer or a reseller.
Although I've made my negative feelings toward Poshmark pretty clear, I felt it necessary to chime in.

I never owned that keychain but I think I recall having seen it years ago.

I don't see anything that indicates that the keychain isn't authentic.

As for markings, I've had several keychain items without markings.

@houseof999, can you ask the seller if the bottom of the feet have "Coach" on them.

The following is a 3D teddy bear keychain (style 383) and there was nothing stamped on the bear itself. The only thing with "Coach" is the hang tag:

For some reason, my own pictures of the 3D pig in the PM listing (style 92156) don't include the tummy with the Coach marking but I also had style 93082, pave piggy bank and from my picture of the bottom/tummy, I can see that there's nothing on the stomach but because of the reflection of the tablecloth on the feet, I can't tell nor recall whether the feet were marked. The pave penguin (92604) and the pave pineapple (92901) weren't marked either.

Actually, in looking at a lot of my pictures of 3D fobs, many don't have markings on the charms. In a lot of instances, the only Coach label is on the hang tag. I suspect it's too difficult and time consuming to mark them so they just use hangtags.

A few more without Coach on the charms:
93027 - Coach Legacy Stripe Mittens
92778 - Coach crown swan keychain
92903 - Floral sphere fob
92715 - pave fruit fob

Thank you. I asked the seller to find out a style number. She said they are samples that were never mass produced so I am thinking they may or may not have a style number assigned to them. I asked anyway.

AFAIK, samples at least handbag samples, usually aren't given official style numbers until they're approved for production, although they may have some kind of in-house tracking number. I've never seen or heard of keychain or purse charm samples and don't know if that applies to them too.

Hi, could anyone help me with the style name of this bag? I just bought it but I can't find anything. I bought through a Goodwill auction that says it has been authenticated but no numbers and/or name provided. Thanks so much!

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with this style. It should have a tag inside the pocket with numbers on it, and also a made in tag sewn into the seam. I wouldn't necessarily trust Goodwill's authenticators. They've made many mistakes.

Hi and great ! Nice to know ha! I will look at it myself when I get it to see if I can find a tag inside. Thanks so much!
If you bought through a Goodwill auction, there should be a link to the listing (even if sold). Would you post a link please?

I just got another reply.

I know this is probably beating a dead horse, but I'll comment on what she said.

I looked up that company she referred to, Metal Dynamics and I believe they are legitimate and they manufacture for big name companies. (Whether they sell outside of wholesale, I don't know.)
Metal Dynamics: Custom Product Manufacturing
https://www.metaldynamics.net

For example, this is from their site:
https://www.metaldynamics.net/portfolio/f/c/40
And this is Macy's add for the same Juicy item:
https://www.macys.com/shop/product/...-woods-eau-de-parfum-spray-3.4-oz.?ID=6461048

Their site:
https://www.metaldynamics.net/portfolio/f/c/62
No longer on Mulberry's site but this picture was originally on the site:

Per her reply:

ETA: The seller is located in Rhode Island as is the metal company and the likelihood that either she, a friend or a family member works there isn't an impossibility.

Dear Experts – when you have time, I would appreciate your thoughts on this bag? I picked it up at an estate sale for my sister but want to make sure it’s authentic before I rehab it and give it to her. Please let me know if you need any additional photos!
Thank you!

Item: Madison North South Tote
Base: 13” x 5”, Top: 17”, Height 13.5”
