Dear authenticators! Request to authenticate please. Thank you! Really thank you so much for all your knowledge!!!
Item: Anderson bag (per web search, please correct me if I'm wrong.)
Seller: thrift store, now hoping to add it to my collection!
Link: n/a
Comments: I hope I scored during my last trip to the states!
Unfortunately, you didn't score.

The bag is fake. Whenever you see an "E" plant code with a creed stating that a bag is US-made, it's fake. E is a plant code for Italy.

Thank you BeenBurned! I was getting too cocky! I thought the creed looked too "puffy" according to some posts I saw previously. The leather seems really nice, thick and sturdy though.

That's strange. Here's the creed:

I don't like Mercari for authenticating sold items. They put an orange banner across the middle of the pictures so parts of the bags aren't legible. In this case, I can barely read the serial number but sometimes, it's completely covered. (Maybe it's different if you're a member but I don't want to have to sign up to view a listing.)

Have you tried right-clicking and selecting "view image"? The image should come up without the banner. (I'm a member so it might not work for non-members, but just thought I'd mention it.)

If you right click the image and go to view image in different tab you get the picture without the bar, often times you can also enlarge it.

Thanks to both of you. It works!

Hello lovely TPFers! I bought this bag on eBay in hopes of giving it to my mum as a present. However, upon it arriving I am having doubts because it feels flimsy in my hands, and smells a bit plastic-ey. The leather tag feels like paper and the inside Coach tab just looks odd to me, there appears to be an "i" missing in "commitment" and the "q" in "quality" looks like a "c". Could anyone please have a look and let me know if this is authentic or not? Huge thanks.

Item: Coach Tea Rose Parker (named something else in the listing)
Listing number: 362764133697 (already purchased)
Seller: milosearle123
Link: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Coach-Ca...nting-shoulder-small-square-bag-/362764133697
Comments: It says the bag was fabricated in Vietnam. It was difficult to find pictures of the interior of the supposed original Parker bag, but the one I could find via Google had burgundy lining. This one obviously has a beige lining. The burgundy one also was just one big open interior with no middle zip compartment, like the one I got.

I'm attaching some photos of the bag that I took.

I'm not liking what I'm seeing and the seller's feedback is a bit scary. She has a negative feedback for a different Coach bag that is allegedly fake as well as another fake accusation.

Is it possible to get a better (more straight on) picture of the creed as well as the other tags or labels that are shown on the right side of the creed picture.

Is "26848" on that label supposed to be the "style number?" If so, the bag you got is not what that style looks like.

This is 26848:

I am NOT an expert in newer styles but I think your instincts are correct. the creed stamping in addition to the misspellings is really rough, the stamping pressure was uneven and the spaces between the letters aren't even. I'm also concerned about the small white tag to the right of the creed patch, the one that just says 26848. Maybe one of the other experts can take a look but it doesn't look like any kind of tag and formatting that I've seen in any Coach. The only thing on that white tag is "26848" and I believe there should be more. It can't be the style number because style 26848 belongs to a completely different bag from the Parker line, like this one:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Park...512908?hash=item3d8ff9b98c:g:4uoAAOSwJMBdOKHp

Trying to compare two bags based ONLY on the name can be a big problem. There have been dozens of different Parkers just in the last few years so unless you know that both bags have the exact same style NUMBER, not name, you may not be comparing the same bag.

It's also a bad sign that another recent "Coach" sold by that seller was claimed by the buyer to be fake. Their Feedback doesn't inspire confidence.

Blast! I lost my post.

I think this may be what it's trying to be, or maybe it's the Parker you found when Searching.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-5466...noa=1&pg=2047675&_trksid=p2047675.c100623.m-1

It's not the same style bag as the one you bought, and if the outside colors are different, the lining may be a different color. But I'm more and more convinced that the one you bought is fake.

Thank you for the quick replies, @BeenBurned and @Hyacinth

I bought the bag on the 28th of September when the other fake Coach feedback wasn't there yet. I did see the fake watch feedback but they had a positive one for the same watch so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately it's literally impossible for me to get any closer or better angles of the bag number tag or the creed because the bag is so tiny and the compartment being in the way of my phone doesn't help.

I'm not a Coach expert (only have a few SLG's, no bags) but if a noob like me can sense something is off about a bag, I think it's safe to say the bag is a poor fake. Luckily for me eBay is good at forcing refunds on fake goods so I'm gonna go open a case.

After doing more research, I am 100% positive that the bag is fake and based on her previous feedback, I wouldn't give milosearle123 the benefit of the doubt; she knows she has fakes and has feedback to prove it. She deserves another appropriate negative feedback for the fake you received.

The style number of the bag you bought should be 52611 and here are a couple of comparisons to the fake you received from milosearle123.

Look at you in full detective mode! Something definitely did not feel right as soon as I opened the parcel. Glad to know my gut was not wrong. Thanks again for your help.
