Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

2 pictures aren't enough to authenticate it but so far, it isn't screaming fake. (This doesn't mean it's authentic though.)

(ETA: Is there a 36? I'm aware of 28 and 34. This would be 34 if confirmed as authentic.)

• Interior showing more lining than just what surrounds the creed
• made in tag
• picture of the bag taken from the top showing zipper closure and pockets on either side of zipper
• Coach logo on front of bag (closeup)

it didn't have the silver print on the creed, it had embossed creed with no number. So someone is selling something that is not authentic. IDK, I'm such a newbie to buying second hand. Will post more photos when she sends them. Thank you again!!

Only photos provide. But I think the creed is wrong/fake.

Every item needs to be evaluated on ITS OWN MERITS. When comparing, it's important to compare apples to apples and that includes items made in same plant and same year.

Although I can't read the creed on the listing you referenced, I can see that it DOES have a serial number. Without being able to read, it's speculation but it's possible that the bag you're asking about and the one in the ebay listing were made at different times and/or in different factories.

It doesn't (necessarily) mean that one is fake nor does it mean that one is authentic (or both are.)

And to confirm my point of comparing apples to apples, here's a listing of a bag made in the same year (2017) and plant (21) a few months before your bag was made. It has the stamped creed. (Note that based on the hardware color, the stamping color can vary.)

Fake Coach???? I found this at a consignment shop and I'm not completely familiar with all Coach purses. Was wondering if someone can help me to verify that this is not fake. The inside does have a YKK zipper but there is no serial number

It;s authentic, made in the early 90s. Some of the Sheridan styles didn't have numbers.

The brand of zipper in a Coach can NEVER prove that it's authentic. Please read the Salearea Coach Guide that explains why, and never use a zipper as proof of ANYTHING. I sugest reading all six of the Guides, but at least read this one:

And please post a photo of the entire bag top to bottom including the strap and handle if any, and the back of the bag as required if you want to know the style name.

Forgive me if this was answered. I am plowing through your haul! I believe it is an Open Marketing Tote cause I have one. Mine is the same dimension but with full side zip pockets. Mine was later a later NYC xxx-xxxx reg #.
I have seen these online, in this condition and worse for $100-200!

Yeah, that was funny! I'm not sure if I can have my parents over again until I can get these bags hidden. I keep telling them that I buy them to rehab and sell but I haven't sold a single bag yet. Not one! It's a good cover story though, right?

May I please request an authentication of this BEAN BAG (according to the creed). I think this is dud #2! It measures approximately 9L x 2W x 9H. This bag looks and feels pretty convincing but the creed says it's a bean bag. It's not a bean bag. Thank you!!!
