Thank you! This has been a crazy ride, for sure. I am stunned that so many are genuine. I wish I could have met the lady who shopped for these bags. Her nephew hosted the estate sale after she passed away and he said she had over 500 Coach bags stored all over her house. These are not moldy forgotten bags, these were cared for at some point. I got the leftovers that didn't sell at the estate sale and I think I got a pretty good deal! If the last few turn out to be genuine then I'll have paid $7.89 for each bag. Not too shabby!
Thanks for sharing this story and your wonderful bags with us. I am sure that the woman who owned them would be so pleased that you have them now and will bring her treasures back to the beauties they were when she first bought them!

She'd probably also be very happy that her obviously beloved Coach collection had found such an appreciative audience! Too bad she apparently never found tPF.

Wow! She was a kindred spirit for sure! I think it’s great you have a little back story and we were all able to enjoy some of her collection. She’s now your Coach Fairy Godmother lol

I’d save the hardware too. You never know when you might need a D ring.
Frankly I'd be inclined to save some of the leather for possible leatherworking projects (not Coach-related) but that's the crafter side of me. It just looks like it has several nice decent-sized pieces that could be used by someone learning how to work with leather.

Not from auction site, Private Sale.
I think it is a BROOKLYN 36 in green
Only photos provide. But I think the creed is wrong/fake.
Thank you!
2 pictures aren't enough to authenticate it but so far, it isn't screaming fake. (This doesn't mean it's authentic though.)

(ETA: Is there a 36? I'm aware of 28 and 34. This would be 34 if confirmed as authentic.)

Please request and post pictures of
  • the full front of the bag, straight on.
  • Interior showing more lining than just what surrounds the creed
  • made in tag
  • picture of the bag taken from the top showing zipper closure and pockets on either side of zipper
  • Coach logo on front of bag (closeup)

Fake Coach???? I found this at a consignment shop and I'm not completely familiar with all Coach purses. Was wondering if someone can help me to verify that this is not fake. The inside does have a YKK zipper but there is no serial number
