Please follow the following requests:

• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Hi and Happy Back to School!
Can you please authenticate this bag. I think it is a Dinky (really hurt) that I found it in a thrift store.
Measurements: 8.5' x 5" with a 20 " strap drop.
My apologies for poor resolution, or duplicate images., This is my first time posting without my daughter by my side!. It's taken me 6 tries and forget how much time to hit the post tab!!!

Yes,it's genuine, from the early 1990s. But we need measurements to confirm that it's a City Bag.

Length (across): 11"
Drop (short length) 18"
Drop (longest length) about 21"

Hi! Please forgive me if I am not following the correct process - hoping I am doing things correctly.
I just purchased a bag on Poshmark to replace the one that was stolen from my car - was my favorite bag!
I have a short window of time to accept the delivery so just wondering if someone can help me authenticate it for me I would be very grateful.

It's not necessary to repeat your entire post, just either use the REPLY button in your original post to ask for someone to look at it, or post the link of the original post. We only have one person who does both Poshmark and newer bags at the moment so please wait for her to look at it.

There's one detail in your original post that wasn't repeated in this one that makes me 99.9 percent sure that the bag is genuine since it's been an infallible indicator of authenticity on older bags, but I'm not an expert on newer bags. I'd suggest accepting the delivery and if we later determine that it's fake you still have time to get a refund, although Poshmark is probably the worst major site on the internet to try and get a refund from if something's fake.

Thank you so much for your response and insight into the proper protocols for posting - I truly appreciate your time!!! I will wait for the authenticator you mentioned to take a look but in the meantime will accept the bag.

Thanks, it's a City Bag. Any time the bag's serial number doesn't include any letters of the alphabet that means it was made before 1994 and the style number isn't part of the serial number. In pre-1994 bags, measurements are very important in helping us identify and authenticate bags. Coach made a lot of very similar bags back then and also duplicates and even triplicates in different sizes.
