I'm not comfortable with usaborder.

The pictures in the listings you've asked about are too dark to see any detail but when sellers have tons of hang tags without the bags they came on, I see red flags.

In looking at the seller's other items, I found this questionable one that I don't believe is authentic:

I agree, I haven't been following the FOS events very closely but I don't remember seeing any hangtags like the ones with the single charms. The ball chains on those almost look too short to even be used as hangtags, and a few of those charms don't look familiar at all. As for the "listing ended" Carriage hangtag, not only is the stitching sloppy but the detailing of the metal or plastic Carriage emblem is absolutely horrible. Just comparing it to a Carriage emblem from a Julianne from maybe 7 or 8 years ago:

compared to the keychain BeenBurned referred to:

THE COACHMAN DOESN'T HAVE ANY BLEEDIN' HEAD !!!
also the lower half of the carriage door looks like it has a pig's arse sticking out of it, but that's probably just my imagination. Or maybe the front half of the pig is driving the carriage. Minus the head, of course).

I would NOT buy from seller " usaborder " !!!

OMG! I'm laughing so hard!

I see the pig's tooshie too.

OMG me too! I just got in bed and now I can't stop giggling at the pigs arse!

USABORDER had several completed listings of fake hang tags that were copying those from 1941 collection bags.

Here's a comparison of usaborder's fake to an authentic hang tag from a Rogue (style 58023):

Thanks so much for letting me know! Yeah I agree it seems fishy to have so many tags of questionable quality on hand! I’m glad I checked here first!! Thanks!!

I have no comment on this sellers tags but I have noticed on some of the 1941 items the ball chains have been sooooo short that the bag arrives with the hang tag off and in the box. I had a Heather Grey Rivets Page 27 with a too short chain and I’ve also seen a Heather Gray Rivets Duffle with a short chain.

Both of these bags have a special tea rose detail on the grey 1941 tag. It made me wonder if whoever was making all the grey Tearose tags decided to use 1” inch of ball chain on all of them. Just wanted to mention this as many people ended up losing their tags. Such a shame!

This is the latest hangtag from Coach X Kaffe Fasset Marleigh bag. No pigs toosh here at all! View attachment 4532188

Better, but but it still looks like a scene from "The Headless Coachman Horror". What's the matter with those people, don't they ever watch any Regency/Victorian/Edwardian British dramas? They should be made to watch "Pride And Prejudice" at least 10 times until they learn what a Horse and Carriage are supposed to look like!

Can someone please help me authenticate this Coach Taft bag? I already bought it but now I’m having questions about its authenticity. I only have today and tomorrow to validate whether it’s authentic before I can return it to the seller from Poshmark.

Welcome to TPF. Because you're a new member, I'll be gentle.

It's not necessary to repost within a few minutes of your previous post.
We volunteer our time and knowledge and do this on our own time. We get NO compensation so time spent here is between jobs, family, obligations, etc. and we aren't always online.

ALthough other authenticators do sometimes comment on Poshmark listings, I am one who doesn't (generally) authenticate, support or recommend the site. They don't care about being honest, they don't remove listings of counterfeit items that are reported, they ban members who let sellers know that a listing is fake and they have a "team" of "experts" who give buyers of fakes a hard time about getting refunds because their "experts" don't believe an item is fake. (I am one who has been banned because I was tagged and asked to authenticate some listings. The dishonest sellers who knew they had fakes reported me and instead of banning the fake-sellers, they banned me!)

Phew! Sorry for the rant.

Since you already have the bag and have to know if it's genuine, I'll comment but I'll also issue a warning about the seller kermiesgirl.

The bag you received is authentic, but kermiesgirl has this active listing of a fake Coach wallet:
https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-Vintage-Mahogany-Wallet-5c62dfa3819e90ef8adeff45

and she did sell this fake:
https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-Vintage-Mocha-Fletcher-Bag-5d3d90f12eb33f092bd3ce35

I'm pretty sure this is fake too (sold):

WeHello everyone - long time no see. I am very excited......Chelsea Champlain whose artwork was used for the "Tattoo" items for Coach, in what, 2017??, lives in my town! I have reached out to her to commission a custom piece. Before you say, wrong thread......I have a Pony Express (well i have 2 actually) that i want her to paint. I know i know.......I am not crazy (well maybe a little, but not for wanting my Pony Express painted!!), this particular PE was made in the USA, not NYC. The serial number is not an A...did Coach produce the PE outside of the NYC factory? Did I get duped and buy a fake? I will post pictures as soon as I get home....sorry for not having them right now.....needed to ask my question before i forgot!
